Excellent food, well-prepared staff, well-kept place, not huge, a small corner to dream of a time gone by

Informal place for a quick snack (meatballs, crostini...) or various traditional dishes.

Came into this place by chance. We had dinner and had some shots. All dishes were good, but nothing exceptional. Cicchetti expensive than average and little choice. The main courses lack quantity, as does the glass of wine, very little... the glass is almost empty. Medium/high prices. The cover charge is exaggerated, 2.50 euros per person.

Student tavern always very lively, especially if someone sits at the piano and drags the others into loud choruses. Very friendly staff and excellent choice of beers and wines

A few steps from the synagogue, a short wait for a table to become available. Fast service, good food, simple and tasty cuisine, limited but varied lunch menu (as befits an inn). The only flaw: little space between the tables.

Located in the historic centre, in the old Jewish quarter, among the charming streets of old Padua, the "inn" consists of a room on the ground floor - and the service rooms, kitchens and so on - and part of the first floor of an ancient building renovated and adapted. The atmosphere, informal and welcoming, is that of a place "where you eat", therefore in a simple way: tables, furniture, furnishings and place setting are in tone with the place. Being of a certain age, I wondered whether it was called "Locanda Peccatorum" because here the customers "must" pay for their sins: in fact, one sits exclusively on stools, even if, to be honest, I was offered a chair which I refused because I am used to adapting and appreciating the premises for what they are and offer. The menu, in addition to the "day" proposals, offers, as was obvious to expect, a few traditional dishes, mainly from Padua and Veneto. The dishes are well made and the flavors seem to match. “Family” but punctual service, prices appropriate to the whole context.

Al centro di Padova, nei pressi di piazza delle erbe, piccolo Ristorante con tavoli all'aperto dove ci accomodiamo. Tutto informale, con tovaglie e tovaglioli di carta. Buono il pasticcio di gelato, ricotta e mortadella, come gli scrigni cacio e pepe e i bigoli al ragù di anatra. Sbrigativo il servizio, prezzi in linea.

Small place with outdoor seating. The best pasta and bolognese sauce I have ever had. They are located very close to our hotel. This was our fist day arriving in Padua and went out for lunch. We were lucky to pick their table. Service was very good. Two young ladies taking care of everyone. They did an amazing job with a great attitude and a smile. We will definitely return!
