Mammalia In Sestriere

The Brasato was good but it came with polenta and the Tortelli was not tasty and the sausage did not have a typical taste, in addition soft drinks were served with an expiration date of 4 months. My wife's order did not come and the bill was charged. The charge was reversed and it was ok. They have few options on the menu and they don't understand any language other than Italian well. For a restaurant that tourists should frequent, it requires a little additional effort.

If you go to Sestriere, you can't miss going there at least once. We were there for dinner on the last evening before departure, what can I say.... it's a shame not to have discovered this restaurant sooner. We took the sled of cured meats, good but our taste buds went crazy when the ravioli with artichokes from Asti, the tortelli with Carrù boiled meat, the messy polenta with truffle and fondue arrived.... we continued with a slice of Piedmontese fassona with blue cheese and potatoes and a fassona fillet... the meat was soft and tasty and I found the contrast with the cheese truly amazing. We concluded with the strictly homemade desserts, chocolate cake ok.... but the zabaglione cream and ladyfingers, another world! Friendly and attentive staff, characteristic and welcoming location. Highly recommended!

Sat in the cabin outside with a roaring fire, the food was excellent , in fact the pasta dishes were the best either of us have tasted. The staff were friendly and we had a good night. I would eat here again for sure. This is the second time I have eaten here and it was as good the first time. Worth a visit, although I would say it wasn't suitable for a large group.

dopo aver letto diverse recensioni, abbiamo deciso di provare questo ristorante. Proprietario e camerieri molto gentili. Abbiamo diviso un tagliere di affettati serviti su un bel piatto in pietra e legno, molto buoni. Come piatto principale io ho provato i ravioli al bollito di carré e sugo di arrosto mentre il mio compagno l'entrecote con le patate al forno. Entrambi siamo rimasti soddisfatti delle nostre scelte! Dolci molto buoni: io ho provato il tiramisù mentre il mio compagno la panna cotta ai frutti di bosco. L'unico motivo per cui non do 5 stelle è che mi aspettavo qualche dolce più "tipico/casereccio" a base di mele/crostate fatte in casa (probabilmente per mio gusto personale). I dolci erano freschi, buoni ma turistici... Sicuramente se torneremo a Sestiere sapremo dove trovare una buona cena :) complimenti!

Siamo stati titubanti nel prenotare per via delle recensioni molto contrastanti sul locale. Devo dire che la nostra esperienza è stata assolutamente positiva sia per quanto riguarda la qualità (notevole) del cibo che per la cortedia e disponibilità del personale. Il dehor, arredato sfruttando componenti di seggiovie e skilift d’epoca, è una vera chicca. Prezzo adeguato alla qualità.
