We were passing through and stopped for lunch. Between cured meats, cheeses, specialties and roasts we returned home quite full :-) the problem is that everything is very good, tasty, cooked to perfection... a culinary paradise. Advised

We had dinner on January 12, 2024, with the Christmas decorations still on which made everything special... there were 5 of us and we ate a bit of everything... from fish to meat... I personally ate the octopus as an appetizer and then a delicious and succulent cacio pepe and prawns, truly excellent! We also tasted the courgette flowers with fried anchovies, exceptional. The Caponata and... the cooked lamb!!! A nice wine list, and informal, familiar but at the same time impeccable service. We will happily return. Daniele and Cristina two excellent "Oste" of the house!

The food offered by this place is satisfactory, too bad the service is extremely slow. I will return during the week because a second attempt is a must...even not on Saturday evening

Sono stata a mangiare in questo locale a pranzo con la mia famiglia, oltre al personale disponibilissimo, ho trovato la location molto ben arredata e accogliente, il che ha reso il pranzo molto piacevole. C’è da dire però che il protagonista della giornata è stata la carbonara che ho ordinato. Il fatto che fosse strepitosa mi ha permesso di sentirne meglio il sapore e gustarmi tutto il piatto. Assolutamente da riprendere.

22/01/2024: Recently discovered thanks to my friend DR. M. Truffarelli, it was truly a pleasant surprise!!! Excellent food!! Friendly and cheerful staff!! The place is a bit small and therefore perhaps not suitable for a type of evening for couples who want to talk in silence, But it is certainly suitable for those who love the classic liveliness of the trattoria!! Personally I love that place and if it continues to work like this, it will continue to remain my favorite in that area!! Good guys!!

La Locanda del Capitano

29/10/2023: Siamo tornati dopo diversi anni a cenare presso la locanda. Che dire? Una sicurezza!! Il proprietario, nonché chef stellato, è sempre uguale, accogliente, professionale, simpatico ma soprattutto il re dei fornelli! Peccato non capitare più spesso da quelle parti....le mie papille ringraziano, grazie Chef!
