We have traveled to Italy so many times and consider ourselves somewhat of a connoisseur of gelato. This is one of the best gelatos I've ever had. Texture was perfect (no gumminess), flavors were unique - I had dark chocolate with liqueur and my wife had mandarin and sweet cookies I think - a rare taste treat!...we met the artisanal gelato maker too.

Tappa fissa quando andiamo a Cava dei Tirreni, la gelateria di Marco Adinolfi con una proposta di gusti raffinati e originali, ci ha sorpreso nel periodo natalizio per un'altra golosa scoperta: i panettoni. La mamma di Marco, con la sua delicata gentilezza, ci ha consigliato quello alle albicocche pellecchielle del Vesuvio. Buonissimo e certamente superiore rispetto a molti prodotti artigianali di alta qualità. Torneremo sicuramente per acquistarne altri. Le eccellenze del nostro territorio meritano di essere sostenute e promosse!

Excellent ice cream in various flavors, compliments, you can feel the freshness of the ingredients. I would have liked to eat it in a glass cup at the table.

Great Great Bitterness. My girlfriend and I have been very loyal customers of Marco since he opened his ice cream parlor in Corso Umberto I. The goodness of the ice creams, the artisanal workmanship and the painstaking choice of raw materials led us to greatly esteem the work that Marco carried out for his creations were the same enough to the point of treating ourselves to a small ice cream every evening in order to discover more and more of the various flavors he offered, often always new. Alas, for some time now we haven't seen any new flavors (it often happened to find very seasonal flavours, such as Pumpkin pie or pastiera) indeed they have remained the same for a long time. The goodness of ice cream has decreased drastically, so much so that we are thinking of using increasingly commercial and standardized (therefore tasteless) raw materials. Furthermore, all the ingredients are flattened by an excessive quantity of sweetness and fat which leads to the end of the cup/cone having a mouth-filled mouth and an unpleasant taste. The cream is the commercial kind which doesn't add anything extra to the ice cream other than flattening it even more. It was really sad to see that a self-service ice cream chain has a base (fior di latte) that is less sweet and fatty and therefore tends to better accompany the ingredients you choose alongside. I repeat, this review is more of an observation of two very loyal customers who believed so much in the product and greatly respect Marco's skill who, however, seems to be letting his creations go, transforming them from excellence to a confectionery standard which unfortunately is tending towards low . We both hope for a recovery!

Vraiment un endroit à découvrir. La glace est vraiment supérieur à toutes les autres de la région, de plus totalement artisanale à base de produits frais. Des goûts atypiques ainsi que des mini cornets à tomber. Trop bon... 🤪🤪
