Marivista - Fish Restaurant In Catania

Wonderful location!! Great food and clean. They do not speak English so you will have some challenge but it is worth it.

Good dishes. Nice environment. Too much waiting.

Having lunch in a restaurant on the beach in the low season with no other establishment open along the entire coast to Catania, you risk what happened. Scarce food, to get by, normal and at outrageous prices. Nothing out of this world and a good pinch on the master card.

Ottimo ristorante, pesce freschissimo e cucina sublime. Ho preso un mix di antipasti, c’era del salmone, cozze, ostriche, e tartare. Tutto buonissimo. Consiglio come primo la pasta con i ricci, veramente ottima! Consigliato e tornerò sicuramente

What a gem just outside Catania! We wanted to grab something to eat by the beach and after a short walk we stumbled upon Marivista. Even though the restaurant was supposed to be closed for one more hour (they open at 19:00) the waitress nicely invited us inside and made us feel well taken care of. We had wonderful octopus salad (must try!!!), some oysters, pasta with mussels and local grilled fish (to die for!). Together with Italian wine it was a really tasty experience right by the beach. All in all, we highly recommend visiting this restaurant. Lovely service (we were also given cannolis at the end of our meal) and excellent fish and seafood. What else can you ask for?
