Stunning location on the Castellamonte square, beautiful inside but outside, neglected furnishings and too many pigeons hopping on the table

After a day of sightseeing it is an ideal place to stop and enjoy a chocolate and a pasta.

We were in Turin for a few days and discovered this cafe by chance. After that, espresso & grappa here every lunchtime😀 Ladies worked there at lunchtime and were very friendly despite all the language barriers. I don't understand the negative reviews from apparent "locals" here. Have a drink in one of the most beautiful and elegant squares in the city and then complain about €1.50? It was perfect for us, we would love to come back.

With my group of friends, on holiday for a weekend in Turin, we wanted to have breakfast before entering the Egyptian Museum. Honestly, we chose the place completely at random but we were very surprised by the service but above all by the kindness with which we were welcomed. Served excellently, availability and courtesy are the best characteristics as well as the quality of the food offered. We were looking for a gluten-free alternative of brioches for one person in our group (unfortunately they didn't have any) but, instead of rudely chasing us away (as happened in the bar opposite the square), we were offered alternatives in a kind manner by serving us. without looking down on us (as always happened in the bar opposite the square) Highly recommended!

The location is excellent, though you do pay a premium for it. Service tends to be slow, really slow. The gelato is fantastic, but again, remember that the prime location is reflected in the price.

gironzolavamo per il centro e ci ispirava fermarci qui. abbiamo fatto bene, sono stati molto gentili, vino rosé molto buono così come il tramezzino ed il Bicerin in chiusura.
