Lovely restaurant for families, friends or couples. Very fairly priced and great service. Waiters great fun with children. We will be back again very soon.

The Monnalisa Restaurant is close to Sedile Dominova. It is what you see so don’t expect anything different! It’s in very busy part of Sorrento with bustling crowds and noise at high decibels! It’s primarily an open air Al Fresco experience with flimsy canopies is case of inclement weather. The Tables are tightly packed so be prepared to get knocked as patrons squeeze by and not have any private conversations. The colour scheme is well colourful, the Menus are well produced but it feels like one step from a Canteen with poor quality pictures and no great explanation in terms of text. On the credit side the Staff were respectful and attentive. The Main courses were minimal but in fairness you’re not paying over the top. In our case we didn’t want to feel bloated so this worked well for us. It’s not bad but it’s not great. If you want food that fills a gap and tastes pretty good it will check that box. At €35 for two mains, a glass of Chianti, still water it’s probably representative value.

Excellent ! We have been going there regularly every year on every vacation since 2014. Sergio, Monica and the whole team are really great. The food is very good and the atmosphere extremely friendly. Looking forward to going back next year!

I was in Sorento in the middle of August. As it was dinner time, we were looking for a place to sit down. This city has no shortage of restaurants, bars or gelaterias, but I couldn't seem to find the perfect atmosphere. Until I arrived at the Monalisa restaurant by chance and I met Signor Mimì, one of the people who worked there. He didn't even have to explain much to us that we immediately decided to sit down and that's just because of his manner and the warmth with which we were greeted . I ordered a plate of pasta specific to the area. It was as good-looking as it was tasty. I couldn't eat it all, and Mr. Mimì "helped" me take the last bite. I was photographed with him at that exact moment and what do you think, I put it in the frame! I think that if he knew this, he would smile widely and make a scene specific to him. I recommend this place for the above and more!

My husband & I were in Sorrento on vacation and had been shopping most of the morning and wanted to enjoy some local pizza for lunch. We stopped in to Monnalsa and enjoyed a pizza with a delicious Limoncello Spritz. There is a gelato cafe there too with s small child figure on the outside of the windown that looks like he is eating out of the ice cream cone. The pizza & Spritz were perfect for lunch! Glad we stopped here and will do so again on any future trips to Sorrento.

We ate here twice, the food was soooo good and the guys create super atmosphere, especially guy called Mimi, very happy, jolly and entertaining guy, super spot.
