Locale adiacente alla Porta Nuova di Marsala; con tavoli interni ed all’esterno; cucina siciliana tipica, “come quella della nonna”, ci dicono Gioacchino e Massimiliano, rispettivamente proprietario e maitre del locale, e dopo aver pranzato e degustato alla sera tre splendidi vini locali, possiamo credergli; qualità ottima, prezzi bassi, ed in omaggio una approfondita chiacchierata sulla storia del Vino Marsala, da parte di Massimiliano, persona appassionata e colta. Come consiglio culinario, imperdibili le sarde marinate e fritte! Come vino, Marsala Vergine, non ci sono dubbi! Amedea & Aldo - Cremona

Local adjacent to the Porta Nuova of Marsala; with internal and external tables; typical Sicilian cuisine, "like grandma's", Gioacchino and Massimiliano, respectively owner and maitre d' of the restaurant, tell us, and after having had lunch and tasted three splendid local wines in the evening, we can believe them; excellent quality, low prices, and a complimentary in-depth chat on the history of Marsala wine by Massimiliano, a passionate and cultured person. We brushed everything. It's always a pleasure to eat here. One of those places where when you wake up you think: I have to go back more often. They are very rare now.

Abbiamo spazzolato tutto. È sempre un piacere mangiare qui. Uno di quei posti dove quando ti alzi pensi: devo tornarci più spesso. Ormai sono rarissimi.

We stopped for a quick aperitif, the Marsala sour deserves a star alone, as appetizers, fresh hot panelle, Caponata with croutons, olives and chips..... courteous and fast service...

Intimate, pleasant place, polite and very helpful staff. Simple but great food! I definitely recommend it and if I return to Marsala, I will definitely return to this place! Well done!👏

Given my personal tendency to avoid 5 stars, often finding them banal. Last night was a pleasant experience: a well-made aperitif at an affordable price. The courtesy of the staff and the owner then enriched my personal experience

02/04/2024: Trattoria di Mariella is a restaurant in San Vito lo Capo, Sicily known for its delicious seafood. My favorite dish is spaghetti alle vongole (spaghetti with mussels). Trattoria da Mariella's spaghetti alle vongole is made with fresh local mussels, garlic, white wine, olive oil and pepperoncino. The dish is simple but full of flavor. “The best spaghetti all vongole I have ever eaten!” Plus a local wine that goes well with the dish.
02/11/2023: Disappointment. Several dishes displayed on the external menu were missing. Since there was no fillet, they recommended the counter fillet which was actually a 3mm thick slice of meat. The busiata alla trapanese was barely edible.

30/10/2023: Excellent venue. Previous reviews may not have taken the menu into consideration. Here I put the photos, to get an idea of ​​how much you will spend. We arrived at 2pm, and they welcomed us anyway, even though it was close to closing time, and they found us a space. The chef was honest, telling us about what he had at home and what he didn't have. But the one who cooked it in a truly excellent way. Balanced menu, portions not exaggerated and tasty. In the end, bitter and zibibbo offered by the house. Of course, we paid €40 each, and perhaps some will say that it is too much, but the photos of the menu speak for themselves, and one can decide how much to spend. Selfie of our gang together with the cook Nino, the one at the back, standing, who came to greet us and was running away to get some rest before starting the evening shift at 6.00 pm.
24/09/2023: Had a pizza that lives up to its name "Delicious", very good. (A pizza for two).
