Good choice and quality of meat, the first courses need improvement. I haven't tried the pizza, excellent service and good value for money

A working lunch with colleagues, the mixed starter was very interesting, the grilled meats were excellent, especially the Irish one, then the lamb and the sausages. An excellent red wine accompanied the delicious lunch. Finally desserts and bitters.

Table for 6 on a Saturday evening. Clean environment, polite and efficient staff... not a romantic evening environment if you want to impress or similar. Quite structured menu... from appetizers to first courses and desserts. In short, if you are vegan or vegetarian, you will find something to eat! We took almost all of the meat... apart from an Amatriciana without pecorino (thanks to the staff for their courtesy and patience). Very good and tender meat. Nothing to say about the quality... I would have just liked a slightly more performing knife 😅 Prices in line with other grill restaurants that deal with the same type of meat (if you think the product is expensive, you can also go to Old Wild West)... the only sore point is the lack of transparency of the prices on the menu. I understand that since it is freshly cut meat, there is a price calculated by weight... but the menu does not indicate the price of the side dishes (I also asked the waitress) and a focaccia bread was brought to the table (good for heaven's sake!) not to be expected we requested and charged €5. None of us asked for it, so much so that we were disappointed... Our fault for not asking if it was a gift from the house... but it is incorrect and unclear anyway. Bottle of Valpolicella Ripasso DOC wine from Bertani cellars, quite anonymous and commercial. Unfortunately I know the wines of that area well and I must say that there are much better wineries. It's fine for someone with little experience and no connoisseur. Overall very good... I will return in the future to try the first courses and the pizza which looked very inviting. ps: Must try!

Not very satisfied. Used to other "carnivorous" places I was disappointed. The desserts made the situation worse but it is to be appreciated that they were not taken into account. Pleasant environment.

Restaurant with a delightful atmosphere, you feel right at home. In a colorful neighborhood like Pigneto, this restaurant serves true tradition, with the attention and friendliness of Mr. Paolo making the difference. What about the meat, sublime. It's been my neighborhood all my life, but this place was a real discovery. Highly recommended!!

IT WAS NOT THE FIRST TIME I WENT TO THIS BRACERIA, RESTAURANT, PIZZERIA, I COME FROM THE NORTH OF ROME AND I HAPPEN HERE NOT OFTEN BUT WHEN I COME TO THESE PARTS IT IS MY PLACE TO EAT. IN FACT I HAD YET ANOTHER CONFIRMATION OF THE VERY HIGH QUALITY OF THE FOOD, EXCELLENT SERVICE AND WELCOMING ENVIRONMENT. TOP CHOICE ABABCHIO, FUSILLI WITH PUMPKIN AND SPECK TO EAT SEVERAL TIMES! GO THERE FOR LUNCH OR DINNER, IT WILL NOT DISAPPOINT YOU.

Post-work dinner with colleagues...everything very good from the smoked beef carpaccio to the tartare and the steak...good choice of meat and wines, I recommend it if you're passing through Rome to try it

Today for lunch after a long time.......finally..... exquisite meat, kind managers, a nice place and very good staff We will be back

Da Mr. Manzo si possono assaggiare piatti della cucina romana molto ben preparati e serviti con cura e attenzione. Molto buono il servizio e particolari le spiegazioni del titolare che esaltano le portate. Da consigliare

We order 3 appetizers and 3 main dishes. Was served a focaccia that we didn’t order, but I thought was to be serve with the mozzarella, so I didn’t asked to the waitress ( was charged as well, as 4th appetizer). Bruschetta and melanzane a parmigiana wasn’t very nice, mozzarella was dry (I think was old one). Main course steak was good (we ask if has side dish with it and she said was potatoes, but also has vegetables option. Also was charged a part). The gnocchi (like the melanzane) wasn’t very hot and tasted heavy. Lasagna for my son was ok. Service wasn’t very good, besides this over charged dishes. Was the worst experience I had in Rome, actually in Italy.
