09/05/2024: I went to this tavern on a Wednesday evening with two friends. Very characteristic place and excellent dishes. However, there are some organizational problems, which are not trivial. Basically half the menu was not available. Everything we would have liked to order was missing...no Giudia and Roman artichokes, no chicory, no supplì on the phone, no oxtails, no tonnarelli. In a typical Roman restaurant, at the beginning of service, in the middle of the week, it seems like a notable lack. Fairly expensive wine list: 17 wines in total, of which only two under €30 (one for €28 and one for €29). All the others well above average. To be clear, out of 5 bubbles, the least expensive was €39. However we took the Falesco and it was very good. Bill of €45 each for a starter, a first course, water and wine.
06/05/2024: Nothing to say, excellent dinner, friendly staff. Truly beautiful, evocative environment.
The only flaw is the price: excessive €11 for a glass of rosé. €87 having taken 2 appetizers (crostini), 1 first course, 1 second course (delicious meatballs but they taste a lot like wine to my taste) with side dish (INSANE garlic fried potatoes!), water and a glass of wine. They also bring you the entrée of dried wild boar meat. I would happily go back, but I wouldn't take the wine again!!!
