Very central tavern a few steps from the sea in Alassio where you can eat first courses in different variations and you can choose the pasta and sauce. Family-run, the trattoria is also a meeting point for those who dine alone because the atmosphere is very warm.

A warm welcome in a lovely setting right in the center of Budello, a stone's throw from the seafront. Various and varied pasta menu with the sauce of your choice and typical Ligurian starters. Very good value for money for Alassio.

Exceptional food. Kind and pleasant staff. Very nice place, it feels like home. Exceptional format, many types of fresh pasta and many excellent sauces. Super recommended.

New format for this tavern: You only eat pasta The menu is made up of two columns: pasta and condiments. You can choose how to pair them. The fresh pasta without filling is made by them, shame about the filling. Personally I would include slightly more sophisticated condiments to better personalize this type of formula which otherwise takes its time...

17/03/2024: We stopped by on our lunch break. Fixed or à la carte menu. We had the fixed menu. Good price, ate well and in a simple way. It's fine as a lunch break. Friendly and helpful owner.

L'Osteria di San Lorenzo

28/02/2024: This review is based on my personal experience. Small characteristic restaurant in a quiet area, with a small car park. Kind and friendly chef and dining room staff. The small entrée of fugassin and salami was appreciated. I really liked the octopus on broccoli, shame about the small portion. Good fried anchovies. So-so seafood starter. Good ground appetizer, but poor. Decent cod crescents. However, I found all the portions to be very small and the prices quite high, especially because it is in a remote place while the prices are seafront and higher. I don't think I'll go back, we left not satisfied. Of course we could have ordered other dishes, but the budget didn't allow it.
