Osteria where you can taste local delicacies, cooked with masterly simplicity. Family run, a typical place to meet friends and relatives to pleasantly spend time together. We ate the ravioli and gnocchi as a first course and the cod encore as a second course and we were happy with our choices. Next time I will be able to tell you more.

Even though it was already just before the final, they welcomed us very warmly. The service was very nice. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was like home. I highly recommend this business and we will definitely come back here again.

A place with a unique atmosphere, very modest but convivial.
Abundant and super tasty dishes, it's a shame we still had to explore the city otherwise we would have done an encore of everything..

A very welcoming place with typical Friulian cuisine. All dishes prepared very well. Duck a l'orange is the best I have ever eaten.
They are always very kind.
To book in advance as the place is in great demand.

Small restaurant just outside the historic center, perhaps too little known to us kids! Yes, eat homemade, simple, tasty and really abundant! One dish and one starter are more than enough! The Gnocchi with wild boar ragù and the cod creamed with polenta (a real polenta) are excellent. Attentive and friendly service

È un locale dove, in una atmosfera familiare e informale, si assaporano piatti semplici della cucina tipica, confezionati con buoni ingredienti, molto apprezzati da chi proviene da fuori e non conosce la cucina tipica friulana. Ottima l'accoglienza, che permette di respirare la tradizione, senza cedimenti ad un certo appiattimento turistico. Rapporto qualità prezzo eccezionale. Primo (casjons), secondo leggero ( da assaggiare i nervetti con fagioli e cipollina!) con contorno e dolce a 21 euro (e il caffè a 1 euro dove lo trovi più?).

Another of my favourite restaurants in Udine. Traditional local cuisine at very reasonable prices. Homely, old-fashioned interior. I recommend booking as it is often full.
