A restaurant like this deserves a more than positive review. Right balance between courteous and professional hospitality combined with natural kindness, welcoming venue with good acoustics, traditional Roman dishes, some with delicious reinterpretations. The courtesy was announced even before our arrival. Even though it was Sunday they kept the table reservation, calling to confirm that we were just late. We took Giudia-style artichokes as an appetizer and a first course each. I made tagliolini with butter and anchovies with coffee powder and drops of basil. Recommended by the room staff/owner. Confirmed that they are superlative. I also tried the rigatoni amatriciana and it was very tasty. They honestly advised us to wait to order the second courses and I think the reason is linked to the generous size of the dishes. Once the first courses were finished, I saved space for dessert. They brought some chicken with potatoes and baked potatoes which I was told were as good, if not better, than the starters. The chicken was only tasted due to the satiety that occurred but they prepared a "scratch bag" (which I prefer to the expression doggy bag) so that it could be taken home. Also equip yourself in this sense. To conclude, a noantri cheesecake, ricotta cream, crumble of wine donuts and red fruits. Superlative. All accompanied by a good glass of wine. The coffee was also up to par. During lunch the staff was present with discretion but attention. To needs, needs, curiosity. Interested in whether everything was going well. Excellent hospitality. The surprise also came at the time of the bill, when after having received the total I was given a discount. A highly recommended place to return to and to recommend. PS there are also outdoor tables and I think it's best to book.

Super recommended. Excellent tavern, delicious traditional food and very fast service. Very close to the Colosseum.

Close to the coliseum and exquisite!

I had dinner at this place two nights ago. Found online practically by chance, I trusted the good reviews and I must say that I did very well! Very kind, welcoming and knowledgeable staff, clean and aesthetically very nice restaurant, and what about the food? I ate a plate of tonnarelli with anchovies, butter, coffee powder and fabulous basil! Really worth trying, as is the cheesecake with wine donut base, fantastic too!

Just after leaving the Colosseum we found this restaurant not frequented by tourists, which we were grateful for being able to eat in peace after several days. 5 star food as well as service. Totally recommended.

Excellent Roman trattoria with a beautiful atmosphere. Rich and tasty typical dishes with more than good portions. If you are in the Colosseum area, lunch or dinner is a must. Average prices.

Reservamos para o jantar. Ótimo atendimento e preço. Pedimos de entrada alcachofra frita, achei ok. Pratos principais: satimboca a romana e caeser salad. Sobremesa: um tiramisu delicioso e uma torta de chocolate com caramelo salgado (salgado demais). Valeu a experiência.

Ottimo cibo, amatriciana sicuramente una delle migliori mai mangiate, come secondo abbiamo provato il saltimbocca di Angelino, una rivisitazione della tradizione con carne di vitello scelta molto tenera e cotta alla perfezione. Prezzi un pó alti ma l’atmosfera del locale e il servizio, oltre che la qualità delle materie, giustificano tale prezzo.

Dopo quattro anni siamo tornati in questo bellissimo locale che ha mantenuto un elevato standard anche con la nuova gestione.
