Great place, great host and fabulous breakfast. Highly recommend

The village itself is very cute and characteristic, and the structure does not disappoint expectations. I stayed here for a weekend in a room on the top floor, with an internal staircase that led to a small terrace above the roofs from where you could admire all the beautiful surrounding landscape. Small but functional bathroom, with everything you need, even if the soap supplied was not sealed disposable but the classic supermarket dispenser. If I had to find a negative point, perhaps, it was the bed: I don't know if it was due to the base or the mattress, but we didn't sleep very comfortably. As for the restaurant, there is nothing to complain about, the cuisine was excellent, as was the service. Given the composition of the structure which develops vertically, I would recommend it to couples and families even with small children but better if they are already able to walk because with strollers it is a little more tiring to access the rooms, but still not impossible. There are some parking spaces on the square where I parked without problems.

Wonderful place discovered by pure chance. We needed to book a room well in advance, as we were having a wedding in the village and we chose this place. Thanks to Mrs. Mariagrazia for the kind welcome, the magnificent breakfast and the pleasant morning chat! We will definitely return next year to visit the villages around Civitella in Val di Chiana. I recommend this little gem for those who want to experience true relaxation, enjoy a beautiful view of the town and feel part of something special!

5 stars. I never or almost never give them. Here, however, they are all there. I discovered this place in March 2019 and I returned on 30 September 2023 and the wonderful atmosphere, the welcome, the quality but above all the friendliness and kindness of Maria Grazia and her collaborator enchanted me again. Fantastic dinner and even better breakfast with homemade cakes, served in the little square...a delight. In a place out of this world, Civitella in Val di Chiana, once unfortunately the scene of a terrible war massacre, this place, sacred to me, represents the redemption of love over hate. In respectful silence I go here to enjoy the wonderful cuisine and well-managed structure, in one of the most beautiful panoramas in Tuscany. Endlessly recommended.
