A special evening at Osteria Canali. For around thirty euros we were able to taste some delicious dishes, including an appetizer with aubergine parmigiana, broccoli meatball with hazelnut mayonnaise, potato with bran pepper and minestra strinta (i.e. the essence of the soup without the broth, with chicory and toast). For the second course, the choice could only fall on the bush pork, embellished with chestnut honey, and finally we were flattered by the dessert, which for my command was a tart with custard and hazelnuts, warm and fragrant. Not even the bitterness remained unscathed because it was really good. But now let's let the images do the talking.

A place found by chance but it was a real discovery! Sabrina has been able to combine tradition with innovation. If you are tired of the usual dishes, I recommend you try the cuisine of this Osteria, you won't regret it! Ps. I recommend tasting the "soup stricta", a true delicacy and don't forget the homemade desserts 😍

I had the fortuitous opportunity to appreciate the Osteria, 1st) I made a fallback as another one that was recommended to us not far away was full, 2nd) to a temporary customer who was in front of the door, 3rd) we found a place despite not having booked up. Environment suited to the staff, superlative! Excellent food! Cost....adequate.

Già dalla telefonata per prenotare ho avvertito tanta gentilezza che poi ho avuto conferma al locale dove hanno servito dell'ottimo cibo e ottimo vino. Il personale gentilissimo e location caratteristica molto accogliente. Ritorneremo

29/08/2023: A well-kept structure, where children can play and have fun in safety and adults can enjoy a few hours of leisure. All accompanied by pizzeria service, catering and often live music.
24/08/2023: Nice beach restaurant with the best view of he sea and the most lovely staff!!! We enjoyed it alot!

The Conan Doyle Pub

21/03/2024: For years, traveling by car towards Battipaglia, I saw the Conan Doyle Pub passing by without ever entering it. I always wanted to do it though, given that the British aspect clearly on display even from the outside is tremendously fascinating. When I decided to stop a few months ago, my expectations were fully satisfied. Guglielmo, the owner, is now a friend and is always ready to pique my curiosity with fantastic news from breweries all over the world. Each beer is accompanied by an explanation regarding not only its quality, but also its history, and is always suggested with competence, also based on the dishes chosen to be tasted. As a beer lover and frequent pub-goer for years now, I can say that there is no better place than Conan Doyle in the entire province of Salerno, especially when it comes to the breadth of choice of malt drinks to be delighted by.
