I had lunch today with two friends. We shared an appetizer together and a 1.8kg Florentine steak, as well as a plate of pici. The food was great and the prices were right. Advised.

Kind and friendly staff, nice service, cozy atmosphere. The main dish was okay but the side with pecorino and jam was really good. I would prefer a slightly bigger portion size, even if it was a bit more expensive. Of course I give 4 stars and not 5 because it's Italy and one can only have the highest expectations when it comes to food. I would revisit however to try some other dishes.

Small eatery with an excellent menu. Grilled sirloin, pressed chicken, various pastas, wild boar sauce. Something for everyone. Staff helpful and attentive, a perfect ending to a beautiful day.

Ate there twice on the same weekend, during a cycling event: first time we had a set meal, second time we all chose individually. Food was excellent both times. Meat portions, bistecca fiorentina (I think), are huge for the set meals, and most customers take the rest home for a second serving the next day. For us tourists it wasn't possible, so we were happier with the individual ordering the second day around. Restaurant is authentic, with the boss present all the time, a great selection of Italian foods...and it is set in the beautiful city center of Siena, so even the walk to and from the restaurant bring a nice atmosphere with it.
If we do Strade Bianche another time, we'll surely be back for another meal.

Osteria a few steps from Piazza del Campo. The interior is small and therefore the tables are very close to each other, but other than that the environment is welcoming. The service was friendly and attentive: upon arrival we were told that the table would only be available for an hour, but thanks to the speed with which we were served it was not a problem. The tartare, the pici in red wine with Cinta Senese ragout and the tart are delicious. The house wine is also good, with very generous glasses. Prices in line with the area. Great experience!

lo e le mie amiche abbiamo passato una bella serata in questo ristorante. Abbiamo preso un antipasto a testa (io ho scelto una buonissima tartare con burrata e pesto di pistacchi) e un primo (io ho optato per dei pici al vino con ragù di cinta molto buoni, ma anche i tagliolini al ragù presi da una mia amica avevano un aspetto e un odorino appetibile).
Abbiamo preso anche due o tre bottiglie di acqua, una bottiglia di vino bianco e due dolci e abbiamo speso 35€ a persona.

Ci sono stato ieri a cena con mia moglie su consiglio di amici. Bell'osteria in centro con menù a base di piatti tipici locali. Cibo davvero buono, personale cortese e veloce e buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Prenotazione consigliatissima.
