We stayed on the small Island of Ortigia, Syracuse on Valentines day, Seby - L'Osteria was recommended to us, we had a wonderful evening there, the food, hospitality & atmosphere were all good. I would definietly recommend this restaurant, the small Island of Ortigia, is simply beautiful. Adam & Pam 💃❤️🕺🇮🇹🥰🥂🥂

Do yourself a favor and just go! WOW! The artichoke appetizer and orange salad was remarkable. Seafood pasta and ravioli were excellent. Nice friendly staff!

We had two first courses and an appetizer at this restaurant. Non-existent fish flavour, portions almost offensive given how small they were. The tables next door had much larger portions, we reported it and they didn't bother us. Really annoying overrated place

Trasmettono passione e cultura dei loro piatti , spiegandoli e facendoti appassionare Sono andato tante volte ….. e ci ritornerò appena sarò in quella città …. Consiglio vivamente questa esperienza

Nice ambiance and service. Forgettable food. Fish was dry and lacked flavor. The best thing on the menu was the lamb ribs.

L'Osteria Seby è un ristorante molto interessante. Posizionato nel centro di Ortigia a pochi passi dal tempio di Apollo e nei romantici vicoli della cittadina. Il personale è molto gentile e la scelta dei piatti è ottima. Sempre ben presentati e di ottima qualità.

Ero molto carico di aspettative perche' ci era stato consigliato. Il locale si trova poco fuori il centro di Ortigia. Avevamo una prenotazione per le 21:00, ma abbiamo aspettato una ventina di minuti che si liberasse il tavolo. Ci sono tre camerieri e devo dire che al nostro tavolo si sono alternati tutti e tre. Questo credo abbia generato in loro un po' di confusione perche' nessuno e' venuto a chiederci se volessimo un dolce. Cibo nella media, buono ma senza gridare al wow!!! Carta dei vini scritta veramente male: ordiniamo un vino e la cameriera ci dice che e' minerale ed aromatico ma il ragazzo che viene a servirlo ci dice che e' fruttato. Non vi improvvisate o almeno mettetevi d'accordo... Peccato!!!

31/03/2024: A restaurant that has represented Syracuse excellence for years and years. Flavors, smells that remain indelible in the mind. They perfectly represent the territory, the wind and the salinity of the sea. Suggestive venue and excellent cellar. Obviously Don Camilo could not exist without the legendary Chef Guarneri. Good job, everyone. Keep punching. Honorable mention to my favorite dish: prawns with cuttlefish ink on almond cream. For me the essence of the flavors of the Syracuse area.
23/03/2024: Beautiful restaurant. Good level of service. Something to review on the meat menu. Objectively not up to the level of the fish one in terms of quality and execution. Wines a little expensive.

01/04/2024: Welcoming and refined location, the girl was very helpful and polite as were all the staff. We went to Easter lunch, the wait was above average, but considering the day it was fine. Quality food, medium/high prices!!!
