This place was recommended to us by our agriturismo. The place is nice, even if not very well maintained and the food promised well. We took two appetizers: a fish carpaccio which wasn't up to par and the bruschetta with anchovies which was very good. Then we had two first courses of homemade pasta: the pasta was good, the sauce was so and so. I wouldn't recommend it, although it would be worth giving it a second chance

Super welcoming environment and very friendly and helpful staff. We had to wait longer than necessary for the table and we were complimented with a bottle of prosecco. The dishes are very good and have quality ingredients. We recommend it and if we return to Sarzana we will return

Cozy place with local and quality ingredients. The service was quick and above all friendly.
I recommend the pici cacio e pepe, excellent homemade pasta cooked to perfection.
If they have the hazelnut and fruit basket for dessert, don't miss it!

In the historic center of Sarzana, the Osteria dei Sani offers typical seafood dishes but also offers solutions for those who don't like fish. The fried fish and cuttlefish in zimino are excellent. The basket of crunchy hazelnuts with fruit salad in mascarpone cream is unparalleled. Quick service and pleasant location, old tavern style, in fact.
Worth a visit.

I can't say I had a bad time, because the food is excellent, really really excellent. Unfortunately the service leaves a lot to be desired. Ok it was Saturday night and there were a lot of people, but the wait for anything was definitely excessive. Errors in the dishes then not discounted at the cash register and forgetfulness further delay the service.
I would suggest a reorganization, because they deserve to be taken into account for the quality of the food, which I really want to underline further, is extremely high. After spending almost 50 euros each, at least we expected the bitters to be offered, even taking into consideration the bad evening..

Siamo spesso a Sarzana e giriamo con curiosità tra i tanti locali che la bella città offre. Questa volta ci siamo fermati all'Osteria dei Sani. L'ambiente è uno di quelli ormai rari, dove si respira l'aria delle osterie di un tempo. Il servizio è disponibile, puntuale e molto amichevole, il cibo è davvero di ottima qualità, fresco e ben cucinato, di mare e di terra. Bravi bravi, torneremo.
