The restaurant is located in the historic center of Pontremoli. The restaurant has a few tables in a quiet and characteristic environment. You eat under a stone vault. The staff are friendly but the times today were exaggerated. They apologized and for which I understand them but sitting at 1.10pm we gave instructions on the choices to the 15 we saw two first courses at 1.40pm while the other two first courses we waited another 15 minutes. They ask us if we want dessert, we say yes. They don't take reservations and then show up 15 minutes later and so to avoid taking too long we ask for two coffees which arrive after 10 minutes.

The food is excellent, homemade and traditional menu but excellent dishes. Perhaps the environment is a bit neglected.

L'Osteria della Bietola era un punto fermo della ristorazione tradizionale di Pontremoli. Ora è cambiata la gestione e la nuova equipe non è in grado di intepretare al livello precedente la tradzione. I testaroli sono troppo spessi, il coniglio cotto male. Elemento in continuità la cortesia del personale, ma non basta.

La bietola ha cambiato gestione e la fisionomia è mutata. Continua ad essere offerto un menù della tradizione di Pontremoli, ma il risultato non è lo stesso. La torta d'erbì sembra erbazone (due piatti vicini, è vero, ma con le loro consolidate differenze), i testaroli sono corsivi, il pesto inqualificabile come pesto, il coniglio alla cacciatora piuttosto corrente, a cominciare dalla qualità della carne Cosiglierei ai getsori, molto cortesi, di trovare una propria fisionomia, cucinando piatti diversi da quelli della tradizione che non sono nelle loro corde

Presici testaroli with mushrooms... I was expecting fresh porcini mushrooms instead mixed dried mushrooms arrived but not rehydrated porcini but something went wrong they were tough and woody... in Pontremoli and with so many reviews I would have hoped for a slightly more dish well looked after...I give 4 stars because the other members of the family ate well. The game stew is also good. In relation to what we ate and two glasses of dominant Sangiovese red with cabernet souvignon contamination, we spent quite a bit 119 euros for the four of us.

23/02/2024: We came for lunch with a dear friend of ours, as soon as we entered I noticed the care and cleanliness down to the smallest details, everything super shiny. The dishes we ordered had an excellent flavour, from the appetizers to the first courses and finally his majesty the cod both stewed and fried in batter. Exquisite! Congratulations Mr. Bacciottini, we will see you again very soon. Thank you for your Passion and Love that you transmit with your preparations, for 70 years of activity. Score 110 cum laude. Bagno Belmare

27/08/2023: Le recensioni penso dipendano tantissimo dalla staff che ha il bagno in un periodo. Ci sono stati bagnini davvero pessimi e altri simpatici. I responsabili tendenzialmente hanno un pessimo atteggiamento, si paga tanto e si ottiene poco. Ho frequentato il bagno da sempre. Nel complesso a me l'ambiente mette un po a disagio, del tipo non si possono fare buche/ nonnine che protestano se la sabbia non è rastrellata (Opposto a scout praticamente). se dovessi ragionare come la massa penso sia comunque un buon bagno, è ben attrezzato, ha campo da pallavolo ping pong e varia roba. Quanto al ristorante ci sono stato una volta e non mi ha convinto. Prezzi alti, (penne al pesto 9€, dai seriamente alla conad con 2€ te ne fai 1 kg), i piatti di pesce non sono male ma nemmeno eccezionali. Al bar prezzi abbastanza altini -il che è comprensibile per un bagno in questo posto- e manco ti mescolano la granita (ghiaccio con sciroppo sul fondo).
