Osteria della Pace In Sambuco

Fantastic place. We stayed there for 4 days in April 2024 on a ski touring trip: The hotel, village and personnel are all very nice and authentic. Food is fantastic, Rooms nice and clean. The personnel is very knowledgeable on ski and bike tours. It's difficult to do better!

last week at the Auberge della Pace, for a ski touring activity with the CAF of Villefranche sur Saône. It's a whole family that participates in the well-being of the guests. The dinner is excellent, from starter to dessert, with very careful service, Raffaele's advice for wine is perfect. The latter also gives very good itineraries for skiing, being himself a former competitor in this discipline. The bugnes of Mardi Gras when returning from skiing presented by the grandpa cook. The rooms are very cozy and clean, they are redone every day. The relaxation area with sauna hammam and jacuzzi is magnificent. Well done to the whole family and staff for giving us a fantastic week! Exceptional structure and super massage service

In Sambuco, in Valle Stura, in the town square there is the Osteria della Pace with an adjoining hotel. The place is family run. To welcome you in the dining room are Raffaele and his wife who will be able to show you the menu of the day and recommend the wines, while in the kitchen the legendary Bartalo and his wife prepare the delicacies of the day. The menu offers traditional mountain dishes from the valley and beyond. Depending on the season you can taste creamed cod, various flans, gnocchi (amazing) and cruset, typical pasta from the Stura Valley. Not to mention the tripe minestrone and the lamb, strictly Sambucano, baked. To conclude with excellent desserts. As for the wines, the cellar offers excellent labels well selected by Raffaele. Being a stopping place, the place is frequented all year round by mountain lovers. This is why booking is recommended. The adjoining hotel is equipped with every comfort, including a sauna and solarium. Easy to reach, it is equally easy to find parking, both at the entrance to the town where there is a large space also suitable for campers (with then a short walk of a few minutes), and on the main square in the town centre, where, however, the spaces cars are, for obvious reasons, limited.

At Della Pace the name is concept. The warmth of this loving family captivates you from the start. The Albergo is located in the central square of the rustic and authentic mountain village of Sambuco. The warm rooms, the wellness area and the entire ambience exude coziness, warmth and peace. Nestled in the undestroyed alpine surroundings, we were served top-class local cuisine at a star level. We enjoyed our hikes from this central starting point, be it walking up the Gias mure or snowshoeing into the high mountain valleys. Thank you very much for the family

Sublime restaurant, impeccable service, fabulous dishes and excellent wine. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend it, especially try the lamb because it is unique

Une expérience incroyable durant un séjour ski dans cette magnifique auberge familiale. Tout a été parfait, des chambres à la demi-pension, en passant par la qualité du service. J'espère pouvoir y revenir à une autre saison pour découvrir la région sous un autre angle.
