Definitely overpriced; just for tourists like us. But very tasty, friendly and authentic. It's a shame that the prices are relatively high (at least if you're eating out as a family); otherwise we would eat here again.

In a side street in the historic center of San Gimignano, we were welcomed in a very warm and friendly way by the manager who proved to be attentive and truly affable throughout the evening. As a first course I enjoyed a delicious Zuppa dell'Osteria with leeks, saffron, pepper, ham and milk. Fantastic! The pici with Chianina ragù taken by my partner and my children were also very good. If there had been more ragù the dish would have been perfect!! The second was a very tasty dish of baked lamb meat with white onions, cooked with San Gimignano wine.

Excellent traditional experience in San Geminiano. Osteria that tastes like home. Very good typical dishes of the area. Excellent first and second courses. You can do something more on the typical cutting board, but I still recommend tasting the cheeses so you can savor the delicious jams. Great selection of wines. Friendly and friendly service. Average prices.

The people who serve your food are amazingly friendly and kind. I believe that even makes the food taste better. However, food was very good on its own. The meat was absolutely amazing and tender. Pasta was also great. I highly recommend!

This was definitely a find! One of the best places we've been on our trip to Italy: honest prices, kind and helpful service, great food. The pasta with mushrooms and the lamb were the highlights, as well as the recommended wine. A must.

18/03/2024: Great food, great place and awesome service! Try the 7 course meal, you wont regret.
17/01/2024: A unique, exceptional experience! Everything is thought out down to the smallest detail and there is nothing that clashes. The search for flavor and the study of the dish are found in every course, even the accompanying bread consists of different products all made by them and all interesting. A lot of care is also given in the service with careful explanations and high level of preparation on the products served.

09/03/2024: Una giornata in cui abbiamo visitato Castelnuovo Berardenga pranzando in questo locale molto particolare dove le gentilezza del personale in sala è stata apprezzabile. Abbiamo preso un fritto misto, un' anatra ed un hamburger di chianina, tutto di elevata qualità.
