I was in this characteristic restaurant a stone's throw from the Basilica of Sant'Ambrogio, with a friend for a business lunch. The environment is very nice, there is a nice welcoming atmosphere, but it is a bit small and to make room for a few more seats the tables are really very close together. The staff is attentive, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, the menu is vast, the dishes are excellently cooked, however...don't expect exaggerated quantities...we took two cuts, two desserts and two glasses of wine (excellent). The cut was truly exceptional, but the slices were too thin in my opinion. Too bad about the price, in line with slices of other thickness, on the other hand we are in the center of Milan and not in the Tuscan countryside... however, if in the area, definitely worth a try.

delicious Florentine meat! really delicious, nothing to say. Tasty, well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The chips made by them and not frozen are also good. If you love meat, absolutely worth trying.

The quality and the very kind service are always excellent, even more so. The place is small, but as they say "in a small way..." Always highly recommended, today it still holds its own against many places. Well done!

Such a traditional Italian meat restaurant. The fiotentine steak was one of the best I’ve had in my lifetime. The service was pretty decent and atmosphere felt good.

A fantastic experience in this place located a few steps from Sant'Ambrogio.
Fresh fish and professional service are certainly the flagship of the restaurant.
My partner and I delighted in a mix of crudités for me (tartare, carpaccio, red prawn and oyster) and a trio of tartare (salmon, tuna and swordfish) for her. We then continued with a delicious turbot with potatoes and asparagus, for me, and a sublime fish soup for her.
The Santarosa pinot bianco from Villa Spessa that accompanied us throughout the dinner was simply excellent and with an honest mark-up.
The homemade cassata is also good. Bill: €70 each (wine €26), I would say in line with the quality of the offer.

Soggiornando lì vicino questo ristorante mi ha incuriosito per quelle sensazioni a pelle che avverti quando un locale potrebbe andarti a genio. Fatto centro! Un locale accogliente anche se non molto grande. Cibo ottimo, servizio attento e prezzi onesti.

Ambiente silenzioso, seppure di tempi andati; piatti saporiti ma per inappetenti, prezzi non adeguati. Da anni volevo tornare in questo locale vicino al mio ateneo. La delusione riguarda non tanto la qualità, quanto la scarsità del cibo servito e il prezzo sproporzionato. Ecco un modo astuto di aumentare i prezzi: poco cibo, pagato caro. Concretamente: la tagliata con funghi era composta da fettine scarse e trasparenti, servite in un piattino caldo (neppure un piatto normale) . Costo: 27 euro. Tagliata normale, idem come composizione, 20 euro. Se ci mettete il pane (quantità striminzita pure quella), l'acqua, spinaci lessati e cannellini (saporito l'olio) fanno 68 euro in due. Uno sproposito. Confesso che uscendo ho invidiato i giovano universitari che sul marciapiede di un locale vicino addentavano succulenti panini.
