Trattoria & pizzeria "verace", veramente eccezionali i primi (carbonara e amatriciana sublimi!), pizze con impasto leggero, fantastici i supplì (di loro produzione).

Piccolo locale a gestione familiare; ambiente semplice e informale ma accogliente. Menu incentrato sui piatti romani, non ho mai provato la pizza. Preparazioni dignitose nel gusto e nella quantità, non è una eccellenza ma si difende piuttosto bene. I prezzi sono abbastanza economici. Soluzione nel complesso praticabile.

We came for dinner and tried all three pastas on the menu, really delicious. Amatriciana is one of my favourites. The dessert wasn't anything special, while the house wine wasn't bad. It was a quiet evening and we spent around twenty euros each, I will definitely go back to try the pizzas

Wir hatten ein fantastisches Abendessen zu viert. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und die Speisen haben alle ausnahmslos unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung, auch wenn man von außen versucht ist das Restaurant zu übersehen.

Ci siamo fermati per pausa lavoro. Ottima scelta. Polpette al pesto eccezionali, spaghetti alle vongole squisiti, contorno grigliato ottimo. Gestori cortesi e simpaticissimi. Che dire di più. Tutto perfetto torneremo per cena per mangiare pizza supplì e tanto altro sicuramente eccezionale. Grazie infinite da Angelo e Monica

Lo Scarabocchio

22/03/2024: A restaurant in Northern Rome, where you can meet with family or friends and eat well. All in all, a comfortable room, if it weren't for the cold light lamps, which are blinding and really annoying and whether you like it or not you almost always end up in front of it. Very nice garden with veranda. Excellent quality-price relation. The fish-based menu for 30 euros is surprising. Meat menu at 25.00. Drinks not included. I give three stars for the lamps.
17/03/2024: Discovered by chance, Lo SCARABOCCHIO is almost invisible but once inside you are greeted by a large and peaceful garden that instantly makes you forget the comings and goings of Via Giustiniana. The staff is very welcoming, thoughtful and efficient even in managing any changes to orders. The menu is very varied whether you choose the fixed menu or the à la carte one and the main dishes are plentiful and well packaged. Very tasty and balanced in flavours. Definitely worth repeating and highly recommended.
