A restaurant in Northern Rome, where you can meet with family or friends and eat well. All in all, a comfortable room, if it weren't for the cold light lamps, which are blinding and really annoying and whether you like it or not you almost always end up in front of it. Very nice garden with veranda. Excellent quality-price relation. The fish-based menu for 30 euros is surprising. Meat menu at 25.00. Drinks not included. I give three stars for the lamps.

Excellent restaurant, congratulations to all the staff

Discovered by chance, Lo SCARABOCCHIO is almost invisible but once inside you are greeted by a large and peaceful garden that instantly makes you forget the comings and goings of Via Giustiniana. The staff is very welcoming, thoughtful and efficient even in managing any changes to orders. The menu is very varied whether you choose the fixed menu or the à la carte one and the main dishes are plentiful and well packaged. Very tasty and balanced in flavours. Definitely worth repeating and highly recommended.

I have been a customer of this place for about 17 years, but this mix-up has already happened twice. I go to lunch with my partner and we are forced to eat individually. We ordered a first course and a Jewish artichoke, as soon as my first dish arrived, we waited for the artichoke and after things went on for a long time I started eating alone. Hoping for the dish to arrive for my husband, but nothing, I finish and ask where my husband's artichoke had gone... oops mistake, they were wrong and they served it to another customer... nothing bad can happen , but.... another 25 minutes pass and at my second reminder, they make up that the fryer had problems, no I'm not about to be fooled. In short, we ate separately, obviously when I finished eating I ran away......a really bad experience feeling like I was being carried away, 1 hour and a half for an artichoke.

Un posto scoperto quasi per caso, dovevamo andare a mangiare in zona ed ho fatto una ricerca dei ristoranti li' vicino. Sono stato ispirato dallo "Scarabocchio" ed è stata una bella sorpresa: ottime porzioni, servizio adeguato, cucina ottima, prezzi concorrenziali. Se ricapito da quelle parti sicuramente ci torno e cmq lo consiglio vivamente.

Simple place but what can we say, excellent off-market prices, excellent fixed menu, fish or meat, excellent wines, outdoor space with a beautiful large garden. Scampi cream risotto? Mmm nothing special but everything else is very good I recommend spaghetti with clams but everything is good, even raw on request. Very good

They forgot to bring the coffees and when the group had already decided to leave it was useless to remember it. Fixed fish menu better than the meat one. Very welcoming availability for celiacs.

Informal environment. A hidden and well-kept garden. Impeccable service, very kind. Good quality food.

Cibo buono e abbondante. Serata per una festa quindi il.locale era tutto per noi. Ottimi antipasti, primi e secondi. Anche i semifreddi avevano un loro perché. Location che non ti aspetti.
