Passing through Catania two weeks ago we treated ourselves to a guided tour of the Nicosia Cellars with tasting of 4 wines paired with cured meats and cheeses.
The location is beautiful and with attention to every detail, the staff is friendly and professional, the wines tasted are of excellent quality with a surprise ending with a top-quality Nero d'Avola!
Exceptional experience with the added value of sommelier Chiara who manages to convey enthusiasm in everything she describes, telling a story made of men, work and passion.

I returned to this "tavern" for the second time and with great pleasure I can confirm that it is absolutely worth it. Impeccable service (friendly, precise, attentive, difficult to find nowadays), excellent menu with well-made dishes and combinations apparently from an osteria but developed from an excellent restaurant (hence the quotes above). Clean, tidy, elegant location with a beautiful, well-kept outdoor space. Good wines, I found their amaro excellent

Together with my group of friends we had a very pleasant experience. We did the cellar tour with guided tasting with 4 wines (1 grillo, 1 frappato, 1 cerasuolo di victory, 1 late zibibbo) and 3 courses for €50 per person. Price more than fair. The sommelier who guided us (Chiara) was very professional, as well as helpful and friendly. We also managed to taste a red Etna, which was not on the menu.
My opinion remains more than positive and for this reason I strongly recommend it.

Today we celebrated my partner's 50th birthday... what can I say, everything was organized to perfection from the delicious aperitif to the lunch, the desserts and the excellent wines from the Nicosia Cellars, splendid breathtaking view. I really thank all the staff for the happy celebration 🥳 a special thanks to the kind Mr. Gino who took care of the carrying of our table with dedication and thoughtfulness, I thank Marco the maitre d', who with so much patience was unique, and finally Santi the event organizer and the kind lady Daniela. I recommend it to all those who want to spend a happy and peaceful day of celebration.

Bella location.Provato il menu degustazione. Ottima la ragazza che ci ha accompagnato nella visita alle cantine molto precisa e a tratti quasi teatrale nell'eloquio.Buono il menù, servizio un pò troppo a rilento con mancanza di sincronia nel servire le portate ai vari commensali.Abbiamo fatto notare la cosa e ci è stato risposto che c'erano stati dei problemi (?) in cucina.Da riprovare comunque.

Si torna sempre dove si sta bene, e all’Osteria delle Cantine Nicosia i sta veramente BENE. Personale attento cortese e disponibile, ambiente caldo elegante ed accogliente. Qualità dei piatti ottima dai fritti al tortino di cavolfiore con fonduta di ragusano, dal primo con ragù bianco e funghì fino al filetto di maialino che si scioglieva in bocca. Per chiudere un ottima mousse di ricotta e pistacchio in vasetto. Eccezionale sempre così come il percorso diVINO che accompagna la cena con i vini di élite delle Cantine Nicosia dai Vulka fino al Classico Intramontabile Balanubi (Malvasia)
