Papillon In Tropea

28/02/2024: Family-run Lido, excellent cuisine. It is complete with all services: parking, shower, you can bring your own sea "kit" from home: umbrella, deckchair. There is a beautiful lawn with a bar and seating outside. In summer it is very pleasant to eat outside. A place from times gone by, 80s style that I really appreciated. Courtesy is at home. It's always a pleasure to come back both for a swim and for an excellent pizza. There is a beautiful sea view. The ideal is to go in spring for example in May.

27/08/2023: Very nice beach, very nice loungers and umbrellas, for 20€ aaabut you don't get any food without a reservation. This is our first time here, how do you know? Hospitality looks different. The gentleman was quite arrogant and unfriendly - he apparently didn't want our money, there were still a few tables available. You could also have said, come back in 30 minutes then there will be fewer guests... But by restaurant I don't mean a kiosk-style beach shack. So we can't say anything about the food. Water clear, clean, sandy beach that becomes coarser towards the water. No rocks. Green slope in the background also very beautiful. Every now and then a train goes there.
