I ordered the "6 happy?" with the 700g cassata and the 5 cannoli: I received everything in two days, inside a fridge box. Fresh, quality products, made with the art of those who have been seriously making pastry for generations. And the right balance in the ricotta cream took me back to Sicily where I haven't been for a while. A pleasant discovery and a great satisfaction. The only flaw is that the cassata is finished, but it's not a problem with the pastry shop :-)

Cannolo: delicious, good sheep ricotta; shell crunchy, filled to order; pistachio flakes on ends; thin cinnamon dust strip across the top. Especially liked the shape of the shell (flattened on the ends), made for easy eating. 8/10. €2.50. Would return.

Pasticceria di classe con dolci a cui non è possibile resistere. Ci avviciniamo al Natale e credo che saranno, come ogni anno, tantissime le sorprese che mi riserverà questa pasticceria. Sono molto goloso di dolci e per me i loro dolci sono sempre una sorpresa. Mi viene in mente una frase della scrittrice cilena Isabel Allende che mi sembra adatta a questa pasticceria. “I dolci sono il mio debole. Gli ho dichiarato guerra con tutte le mie forze il giorno stesso in cui ho realizzato che avevo i denti. Sono un vizio più pericoloso dell’alcol e della droga perché è legale, non è considerato peccato e si può commettere in pubblico.” (Isabel Allende)

Golden Restaurant

03/04/2024: Everything was excellent, the quality of this restaurant has improved a lot. Their standard has risen. Unfortunately, still not all the dishes arrive at the table, I suggest using tablets to order like many other restaurants in the category, to leave customers REALLY happy.
15/03/2024: For the type of restaurant it is clean and the food is good, the staff is friendly and the waiting times are fair. I always recommend booking because they are often fully booked

Trattoria Gigliorosso

02/10/2023: Great location, a good menu with a great selection of fresh fish. We both had swordfish which was very fresh and perfectly cooked. We actually went back a second night. If you have a little language it helps but we enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.
28/09/2023: Il locale è molto vicino al duomo, i tavoli sono preparati in maniera semplice e la prima impressione è di un locale familiare. Le materie prime sono ottime e ben cucinate, i piatti infatti sono molto gustosi. Unico appunto per il personale, un cameriere molto gentile e disponibile, l'altra persona barbuta che non è stato chiaro fosse un cameriere o il titolare, un po' burbero e scontroso. Modi sufficienti e non troppo gentili nel prendere l'ordinazione e nel portare il conto. Nessun saluto all'uscita. Durante il servizio, a turno, pause sigaretta all'esterno del locale ma di fronte ai clienti seduti nel dehors.
