Such a beautiful hidden gem near Piazza Santa Croce. The food and service were wonderful! We dined on the Florentine steak, potatoes, lasagna, pasta and their house red wine. Our waiter was friendly, patient and very helpful with food selections. I’m so glad we found this restaurant.

We went on the recommendation of a guide and it was a success. Very close to Santa Croce to enjoy some killer spaghetti carbonara and a finger-licking bistecca alla fiorentina. And for dessert panna cotta and tiramisu!!!! Highly recommended

Typical Tuscan restaurant in the heart of the city. Comfortable, discreet and pleasant environment. I really appreciated the slightly low light with the candles which make the place very welcoming. It really feels like being inside a Tuscan house from times gone by. The staff is very kind, ready to satisfy any request and very discreet. I really liked the food, I took a cut, a selection of cheeses and the cantuccini. Finally, the price seemed very adequate for what I got. Absolutely coming back!

It is a spectacular place, everything is top class and delicious, the pasta, the meat and above all the most typical wine in Florence, Chianti. It's very expensive, but if you want to treat yourself it's fantastic.

With so many options for Florentine steak (and dinner in general) in Florence, know that you won’t go wrong if you choose this place! The steak was incredibly tasty and perfectly cooked to a true medium rare. It includes a side of roasted potatoes which is nice, as many places charge extra for that. We also tried the green beans which were great, and a delicious panna cotta for dessert. I appreciated that they set olive oil on the table as opposed to many local restaurants that serve a basket full of plain dry bread but nothing to go with it. The ambiance is very nice, and, although we sadly didn’t learn this until after we had already dined there, you can get a generous discount here if you book a free walking tour with Florence Tour Tales.

A really nice Italian restaurant. First of all, the food is really delicious. Especially Bistecca alla Fiorentina is a flavor worth trying. But the best part is the atmosphere of the restaurant and its friendly staff. If you want to experience a classic Italian meal, I highly recommend it. The waiters, cashiers all of them have very good energy…

A place steeped in history, excellent service with historical explanation of the dishes. Peposo from Impruneta with a sublime flavour.... And Florentine steak with an intense but tender and delicate flavour. The courtesy and kindness of the manager and the staff make you feel at home.
