04/11/2023: Excellent food with super service. Friendly and efficient staff, enthusiastic owners. The octopus was outstandingly good and the steak excellent. Highly recommend the calvados sorbet.

26/09/2023: We visited this restaurant at the recommendation of our hotel receptionist. Venice is a rabbit warren of narrow alleyways and the map provided was almost impossibly to follow. However we eventually found Muro and it was well worth the search. It was very busy and we had to wait around 10 minutes for a table outside. We soon found out why it was so popular. The menu was very extensive but we had flown in earlier in the day and just wanted a simple meal and wine. We ordered two pizzas between the three of us and a bottle of Chardonnay. Water, olives and bread sticks were placed on the table but we only had to wait a short time before our meal arrived. The pizzas were authentic Italian thin crust with delicious toppings. The two were more than enough for three people but we managed to eat them. The wine was very good and complemented the food perfectly. None of us really wanted dessert but the waiter suggested a house special tiramisu between us all and we caved in. 🤣🤣 Food and service were excellent and the total bill was €61. Very highly recommended.
