I had pizza at many local restaurants. This was rated very high, but I was not happy with my pizza.

We had dinner and satisfied we returned for lunch, they served us immediately and we really enjoyed the Sorrento gnocchi for dinner and the fried prawns and calamari for lunch. The desserts are also excellent. I would definitely recommend it.

1 hour and 9 minutes to wait for a pizza! Too be fair, it was a good pizza. But by that point I'd have eaten anything! Tried to order 2 'family size' pizzas but told it's quicker to order 4 'normal'. Fine. Bought pizzas. Then told the wait is 30 minutes. Not ideal but ok. 1 hour later we were still waiting. No communication with anyone until they complained... Don't blame the guys in the kitchen as you could see they were working flat out. Front desk needs to be realistic.

Aurora has two central spots in Plaza Tasso. Plenty of tables, be prepared to be close up to your neighbours as you tuck in to dinner. Really good menu, pizzas are very very good. We sampled several in Sorrento but returned to Aurora. Good prices - about 10euros for a Margherita. Several pizzas, calzones etc to choose from, extensive wine menu too. Service good not great - but you’re on holiday so don’t be in rush so much ;)

Pizza Con

22/02/2024: Small and traditional pizzeria where you can enjoy good pizza and good rotisserie products. Prices normal. Courteous and kind staff. The only "flaw" is the fact that it doesn't have its own parking but you have to hope to find a place on the street.
18/11/2023: Very good pizza. We arrived in Naples for the holiday and went to this pizzeria next to the house. Excellent dough and quality ingredients. The mozzarella in carrozza is excellent. Prompt and very kind table service. We'll be back tonight.
