Pizza by the slice and takeaway. The takeaway pans are large, 45 cm. in diameter, I think 4 of them can eat it, 3 of them if they're gluttons. They have a decent variety of flavors and decent prices. The place is very large but very spartan, you can sit at the table but without being served. The general cleanliness, however, leaves something to be desired. They also have a space for celebrating children's parties and birthdays. The quality of the pizzas and the dough is not excellent but for a quick snack it may be worth it.

Fabulous pizzas, very stuffed and digestible, delicious focaccias. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean premises. One of, if not the best pizzas I've ever eaten. Highly recommended... prices in line.

If you want some quick pizza to satisfy your appetite, that's fine. My pieces were heated and consequently dry...slick with oil.

29/03/2024: We stopped here for lunch on our stroll through Montalcino and the food was great. We tried two different panini (mortadella tartufo and salame), the peperonata as well as the carpaccio di polenta with boar ragu. Especially the polenta was amazing!
10/12/2023: This is one of the nicest restaurants we dined at while in Italy. The owners are amazing and friendly and the food is superb. All in all an amazing experience! ❤️👍🏻!

Osteria La Brocca

04/04/2024: Decent food but nothing special. For example, the bread, butter and anchovies appetizer gives what it promises, i.e. bread (the same one that is served with cover), butter (classic from the supermarket, I was expecting at least a quality butter) and 7 fairly good anchovies. Nothing more. And well, 13 euros for 7 anchovies seems a bit much to me. The service was a little "stunned". Slow and not attentive but not rude. However, the environment was very nice and comfortable and full of useful details to distract yourself during the long wait. Nothing exceptional but not a total flop either. Maybe it was just the wrong night.
01/04/2024: Table legs too short. I cracked my knees when trying to sit down. Had to sit sideways the entire meal. Table size also too small for 5 people and all the plates and glasses and bread and wine etc. Very uncomfortable. Food mediocre. Service ok - nothing special. I would not return.
