Every time friends pass through Montagnana, I try to take them to the Palio restaurant, because, in addition to trying typically characteristic dishes, the portions are generous and the menu choice involves both Venetian cuisine and the pizzeria option. The medieval setting is in line with the scenery of the adjacent city walls, with the possibility of spaces both inside and outside (here the environment is brighter). The staff is kind and friendly, I recommend booking for large groups and on weekends!

Although it remains a reference place, I must note that the quality of the pizza has dropped significantly lately. Let's hope it's just a temporary thing. Come on guys, go back to making good pizzas like you used to.

Having arrived here by chance, I am struck by the atmosphere which skilfully combines the medieval past, well characterized inside, with the modern external glass terrace, which allows you to sit in front of the high Guelph walls against which the building is located. We opt for a pizza: the choice is wide and the ingredients are of excellent quality. From inside the view filters the historic center between the sturdy railings. The service is competent and the refined courtesy reveals decades of experience. Strongly recommended.

Partiamo dal presupposto che 5 stelle a mio avviso sono poche soprattutto per la gentilezza e disponibilità del gestore e anche il conto finale ( qualità, quantità
al top) mangiato benissimo su consiglio suo......ovviamente prosciutto con contorno,tris di primi(gnocchetti, bigoli e maccheroni) e 1 tagliata ,ma
fuori dal nostro ordine ci ha fatto un'assaggio di fagioli stufati,somarino con polenta, patate al forno e fagiolini 😵...tutto strampalato. .per non parlare del dopo caffè ,una liquirizia da leccarsi I baffi....complimenti davvero...da provare assolutamente e se mi capiterà di passare da quelle parti farò il bis......
