This place is amazing! Family owned and run. The food. Wow. Farm to table, no, back yard to table!!! They make their own olive oil from the trees you walk by. Magical. My wife and daughter came here one night. It was truly lovely and the family. So beautiful. If we were coming back to the area, we would likely stay here as well.

Hidden gem, found this place by mistake trying to find our way to Montepulciano. The food is just amazing, you cannot have more of an Italian experience than this. Plus, its family own and its a winery🍷

James, Fabrizio, and Ines -More gracious hosts would be difficult to find. Such a warm and welcoming family who really have a passion for the food, their community and culture. We have had 3 opportunities to visit, experience a fantastic dinner on the terrace overlooking an expansive and enchanting view and attend a gourmet cooking course and lunch service taught by Siriana one of the locals of Montefollonico who is as lovely as she is encouraging as she teaches you how to make homemade Pici pasta, ragu and almond biscotti from scratch. Fabulous experience and once you are there be sure to see the small but stunning Medieval village of Montefollonico- a walk through the town of just under 500 people is to truly experience its architectural charms and a glimpse of Tuscan history dating back to the 1300’s.

We ate here and didn't stay in the hotel. The ambience of the restaurant is really nice because it is located in a beautiful corner of the property, is romantically lit, you sit intimately in a kind of courtyard and there is jazzy background music. Few tables and a very attentive service make it very pleasant. Unfortunately, the food isn't a revelation because it's really uninteresting, uninspired and uncreatively prepared. The puristic execution does not work in the sense of "Reduce to the maxi", but rather reflects a lack of creativity and skill, but above all a lack of love for the piece. There's just a plain piece of meat on the plate with a little lemon and butter, no garnish, or a sprig of tarragon, rosemary or at least parsley. Everything brought to the plate without a whistle, without an idea. The 50g grilled vegetable side dish was simply pushed together in a service ring and carelessly placed to the side. The taste of the dishes, the presentation, the quality of the goods used and the quantity do not justify the price! 22€ for a handful of homemade and quite dry tagliatelle, with a few grams of flavorless summer truffles is inappropriate. No tasteable or visible fresh spices enhance the dishes. Even five slices of dry white bread without a dip, a piece of butter, quark or olive oil is simply pointless, as there were no sauces that could have been added to the boring white bread... The cook is still in a learning or discovery phase here. It was disappointing...
