Mario approached us on the street and asked us to try his wife's cooking. The food was good to very good. The presentation of the food was also absolutely fine. A little more expensive than other restaurants around, but still a nice evening.

Despite the negative reviews we wanted to try this place which has the possibility of eating along the central street of Maiori, looking at the sea. We enjoyed some delicious scialatelli with seafood, they were really excellent, the pasta and the fish were also very fresh, I recommend it.

Family business ran by son(server), father(pizza maker), and mother(cook). Father has the most personality as he was fetching for customers outside 👍🏽. Restaurant was quaint, clean and simple. Prices are also not too bad in comparison with others. For the food we got, ravioli, marinated anchovies and fried fish, experience was good. I like fish so I loved the marinated anchovies on salad. The acidity was well balanced and the olive oil. Great with table bread. Pizzas looked good even though we did not get one. Pizza in this area can’t really disappoint as we have tried several. Surprisingly, probably through many competition, pizza costs the least on the menu. Service was quick and Mario got what you need. Though ambiance is a little lacking due to the day of the week (Monday)and the season (Winter).

Dalle recensioni lette ero al quanto titubante però ho voluto provare e dico a chi ha fatto recensioni pessime di pensarci bene prima di scrivere fesserie. Accoglienza speciale da parte del proprietario, cibo di ottima qualità, porzioni abbondanti e prezzo non caro rispetto a tutti gli altri della costiera amalfitana. Habbiamo fatto sia pranzi che cena li e se torneramo da queste parti ci andiamo di nuovo.

We ate in the backstreet cafe rather than the outdoor tables on the main street. The atmosphere was lovely, very friendly family restaurant. There was no pressure to choose, eat and pay - instead it was all very relaxed.
The food was very good, and very inexpensive - especially compared to restaurants on the seafront.
House wine was good - generous size glass too.
We had cannelloni, bolognese (came with breads) and then tiramisu and pera & ricotta dessert. All absolutely unpretentious, decent food.
