In the splendid setting of the Bolognese hills, with a dominant position over the Zena river valley, this magnificent farmhouse breathes a domestic, family atmosphere. Genuine food with ancient flavors. Attentive but very friendly service. Mountainous and therefore welcoming environment that makes you feel at home with friends. Good selection of wines. Angela, the true pivot of the farm, will make you go home with a smile on your face. Thanks to all the staff, we had a really good time.

An unusual place, a welcoming house with only 5 tables on the veranda. Homemade food, ragù a little too dry, very good bean soup. Good chicken but nothing exceptional, excellent vegetables. The tenerina and mascarpone ice cream are excellent. Worth trying again in summer for the splendid view of the gullies.

An excellent farmhouse that almost seems like a home restaurant: you are welcomed into the owner's home, and you sit on the veranda (closed in winter) which is also definitely worth trying in summer or in good weather (I'm curious). Traditional and simple but excellent cuisine, with generous portions and good value for money. The menu is fixed and is chosen by the farmhouse the Wednesday before and published on social media. Very welcoming environment, spaces a little smaller in winter, I imagine more space in summer seeing the large garden in front of the entrance. The place is beautiful, located in Montecalvo on the hill from where you can enjoy a beautiful view, and a few meters from the gate is the Mater Pacis altar on the top of the hill from where you can see a good part of Bologna and also San Luca. Highly recommended, to book in advance considering the small number of places.
