We were in Caltanissetta for two days and got the tip from our landlord. The small restaurant only has a few tables and you are greeted warmly at the door by Fina, the hostess. Since our Italian is quite improvable, the menu and the daily recommendations were first explained to us very lovingly. Pino, also the owner and chef, briefly looked out of the kitchen to greet us in German. He ran a restaurant in Düsseldorf for many years - the "best time of his life," as he says. We ordered tagliata and an excellent red house wine. The food was fantastic. Pino & Fina are warm and courteous hosts who leave nothing to be desired. They really go out of their way to ensure the well-being of all guests - whether locals or tourists. It was so good that we went there again the following day (fillet in red wine sauce with olives and fresh garlic spinach). We wish Pino & Fina all the best. May their little restaurant burst at the seams, be showered with stars and they never lose the fun! :)

Entrare in questo ristorante è sempre una gioia. Il menu del giorno offre il meglio delle materie prime. Pranzo e cena perfetti. Stavolta ho assaggiato le busiate al ragù con mandorle, macco di fave con calamari croccanti, involtini di pesce spada con gamberi e pistacchi, caluzzi con le olive, tortino al pistacchio e gelato. Tutto buonissimo. Complimenti e non cambiate mai!

Very particular dishes of local cuisine, well presented, with generous portions and delicious! Really a great choice to celebrate my graduation with family. The owners are friendly, gracious and attentive to the customer from the moment he enters the restaurant. Truly recommended, we will return the next time we are in Caltanissetta. Almost by chance we found this place on a dinner stop between Agrigento and Siracusa. What a find! A simply perfect restaurant. Extraordinary food, the best fish in the world, perhaps. I could eat marinated fish antipasto every day of my life and be happy. The couple that runs it, pure kindness. We will definitely return on any visit we make to Sicily. The best food of the trip, and at a very reasonable price.
