Family and welcoming restaurant. Excellent local dishes, generous portions and honest prices. Ample parking and possibility of access for disabled people. A little noisy but overall 10/10

Except for the starter, but I underline the fact that I was attending a dinner with a set menu, everything else was good 😋 with particular mention of the meat. Tradition, in my opinion, always pays off.

Visiting Assisi and we were recommended by Annie, the tour guide, to eat here. They make their pasta's handmade.

Negli anni 70 facevo delle passeggiate in bicicletta con mio padre ed i miei fratelli e ci fermavamo al bar di Giovannino a bere una gazzosa. Oggi il ristorante è una bella realtà ed è un ottimo posto dove mangiare nei pressi di Assisi. Gli affettati e la torta al testo sono ottimi. La pasta è fatta in casa, la carne alla griglia è tenera e saporita (ho provato la grigliata di maiale) ma vanno menzionati anche il formaggio al coccio e la polenta con la carne davvero squisiti. C’è anche un menu gourmet che proverò prossimamente. Discreto il vino della casa. Prezzi onesti

05/04/2024: A breathtaking place, ancient charm but with all the most modern comforts. A joy for the eyes and the palate. The staff is efficient and discreet. What to say? Definitely on the podium of the best experiences of my life. Ps the lounge with the bar always open and self service with the best liqueurs is a real gem!
03/04/2024: 01/04/2024,, Easter Monday at Borgo della Marmotta, excellent lunch, excellent meal, typical and plentiful dishes,, it was the first time, positive experience, exceptional quality, price, the chef is a special person,,, I will return soon,, truly an excellent trip to taste,,, thank you chef!!
