Locale della via centrale di Buonconvento, visitato per cena. Ho iniziato con una focaccia con pecorino e salsiccia: buona; ho proseguito con delle pappardelle al cinghiale: molto buone ed ho assaggiato anche dei ravioli maremmani con melanzane e pecorino: buoni. Servizio discreto, forse esageratamente veloce. Qualità dei piatti non male, stupisce un po' la presenza di arrosticini e trofie al pesto, piatti non proprio locali, e l'assenza della ribollita o della pappa al pomodoro. Prezzi medio alti, complessivamente esperienza discreta, non particolarmente esaltante.

E' una piccola osteria toscana collocata nella strada principale di Buonconvento, un po' buia. il personale è molto cordiale ed il servizio veloce. Ci aspettavamo un po' meglio: molto buona la carne mentre i primi che abbiamo provato erano un po' insapori. Prezzi medio - alti per quanto offerto.

01/04/2024: We are from Rome, and there were 6 of us on April 1st 2024, we had 6 starters of 4 types, all very good and generous. We shared three mixed grills with chips, excellent meat and plenty of it. Both the waiter Giovanni and the owner were very nice. Total spend €150 with coffee and limoncello. Highly recommended.

Osteria Boccon del Prete

06/04/2024: Very welcoming place, a few steps from Piazza del Campo. Attentive and courteous staff! The owner was very polite and hospitable. Delicious food, I highly recommend the pork fillet with braised spring onions and potatoes. Normal prices. We will definitely see each other again when we return to Siena.
30/03/2024: Had lunch here two weeks ago, the two guys who run the place manage to immediately put you at ease, the place is very large, but at the same time well-kept and welcoming. The cuisine is of quality, the explanations are clear and illustrated with professionalism. Fair prices, they also have no problem offering coffee and bitters at the end of the meal, if we were to return to Siena we will already have a point of reference!
