Splendid restaurant in the picturesque Piazza dei Priori in Volterra. Traditional menu, not touristy and with more than correct prices, corresponding to the quality of the food. We were here on a Saturday evening, without having booked we were welcomed and found a seat. As an appetizer we ordered a delicious bruschetta with guacamole and cherry tomatoes, followed by a Volterrana soup and spaghetti with pesto and pine nuts. Beautiful warm and enveloping atmosphere, the place has an ancient charm, with a splendid frescoed ceiling.

Good choice. A very elegant restaurant with refined cuisine and friendly, welcoming staff. Fast service, average prices. Excellent location in the main square. We will return

It's a shame to paint the ceiling frescoes white. Nice historic place, tourist dishes and menus, no prices.

Bella location, peccato che qualche affresco del soffitto sia stato dipinto di bianco perchè ammalorato. Siamo stati per la fiera del tartufo, quindi menu adeguato. E' vero che siamo in Piazza dei Priori, ma il prezzo è decisamente troppo elevato per quel che abbiamo mangiato, e poi ci hanno fatto pagare la schiacciata che di solito viene offerta. Anche il vino rosato troppo rincarato. Decisamente per turisti stranieri che entrano prendono un cappuccino in due e escono. Ben gli sta.

I went there this evening for the first time, the place is very nice and welcoming, the staff are young and friendly and the food is really excellent.

Very central location, welcoming room and very friendly and attentive staff. Fast service and exquisite dishes. Menu not very extensive but that's fine too. Bubbles and hot focaccia served as soon as you sit down, a nice surprise. Advised.

29/03/2024: We had already been there many years ago..now the management has changed...very kind staff..delicious and digestible dishes and pizza..excellent prices..we will definitely be back ☺️
28/02/2024: I ate well..it was a special lunch break but by candlelight due to a technical fault..a bit of inconvenience to pay as there was no electricity..but the girls did everything they could to make us have lunch in the best possible way even in the dark..
