30/03/2024: Probably the best restaurant address of our 10-day visit to northern Italy. Professional, attentive service, nice wine list and professional advice, varied, original and interesting menu. We ate well, it was relatively reasonable price-wise. The revisited tiramisu is the best I have had the opportunity to eat. An absolute treat. I highly recommend
21/02/2024: Place a few steps from the arena, elegant but not too formal environment.
Trattoria only has the name and perhaps the tables and chairs that recall the name, otherwise it is a restaurant with impeccable service, delicious and refined food.
Dishes with typical but revisited products.
Everything is of high quality, as are the prices.
The tables are almost all for two or four people, very close together, which are divided into two "rooms".
The one where I was had a direct view of the open kitchen, which I personally appreciate very much.
As mentioned, impeccable service, fast, courteous and very attentive. There were two of us and they brought us double cutlery so we could taste each other's dishes without sharing cutlery. And at the entrance they hung our coats.
Virtually every table had a small cart to place items such as bags or cell phones.
The food was all delicious, literally mouth-watering. Menu with 4/5 choices per type (first courses, second courses, side dishes and desserts).
I took poached egg, pork pluma (highly recommended) and hazelnut and roma semifreddo.
At the beginning of the meal, an entré offered by the house, shredded meat served in a container that resembles a can of tuna. And at the end of the meal, pieces of sbrisolona (always offered) which is also very good.
Quality of the dishes and service which however (rightly) come at a cost.
A first course, a side dish, a second course, an appetizer, two desserts, water, glass of wine €120 total.
Highly recommended place!
