Second visit in less than a week, and an equally good experience at la Locandiera under new management. My Caprese with burrata and the Parmigiana were fresh and tasty and excellent for a light lunch. My wife's Caponata di tonno and Paccheri allo spada were equally delicious for slightly more filling lunch. Service friendly and efficient. Well done!

After reading some of the reviews we are not sure we went to the same restaurant. It is February and it's quiet but the staff could not be any friendlier. We had the Caponata which was fabulous, my wife had Octopus and I had the tuna. All were excellent. We will be here for a week and will definitely return.

We entered the door at 18:27 (closed at 18:30); we finished reading it very quickly; the paintings are mainly from the 16th century, and there are also sculptures/remnants of the Byzantine period in the 7th century~

The building is very beautiful, with few pieces on display. If it had not been for Antonello da Messina's painting "Annunciation", the ticket price would have been very high.

The museum is well cared for and, in the very rich collection, there is the beautiful Annunciation by Antonello da Messina. Can be visited with small dogs held in the arms. Very friendly staff. Advised.

Interessante Galleria nel cuore di Ortigia. Bellissimi dipinti ove spicca la famosa Annunciazione di Antonello da Messina. Museo ordinato e ben tenuto, ospitato in un bellissimo palazzo d'epoca. Belle anche le sculture e le due carrozze al piano terra. Museo imperdibile durante una visita alla città di Siracusa.

Cantina Rampa dal 1946

01/11/2023: The trip advisor ad marked this as a £ price range. This was very overpriced for our experience in the rest of Sicily (perhaps not so much relative to other places in Ortigia) Food was good, but portions were quite small.
29/10/2023: Ho amato molto che i tavoli fossero in un vicolo che portavano ad un cortile in mezzo alle case. A lume di una piccola lampada abbiamo mangiato pesce molto fresco e preparato in modo particolare dallo chef. tutto ottimo.
