We found this place not so far from the Colosseum and it seemed to be quite popular. We didn't have to wait long to get a table and were greeted by the several staff members who were all so friendly. They told us about the food and later came to chat with us. I had a ravioli with tomato sauce which was excellent.

Il locale è davvero molto molto turistico, com’è forse ovvio in questa zona, ma mi aspettavo molto di più sinceramente. La carbonara era immersa nella carbocrema, decisamente troppo per i miei gusti, risultando molto pesante. Si percepiva anche una certa fretta, vista la lunga fila...

07/04/2024: Historic Roman trattoria for generations. Very good Roman cuisine. I recommend the artichokes to absolutely try. Medium-high prices but compared to the quality of the food. Informal family-run hospitality.
02/04/2024: Tuesday evening, quiet evening. You enter and you already feel at home, transported to a place from another time by looking at the arrangement of the tables which on other evenings are reserved for regular customers. There is no trick and there is no deception, the cuisine is the usual Roman one, but the good and sincere one is increasingly difficult to find. Artichoke and lamb worth mentioning, as are the chats with the innkeeper Giovanna. Thank you
