Ristorante La Terrazza In Milano

Really difficult to rate this restaurant. On paper the location could offer interesting views of the Milanese city, but the tall plants on the terrace limit it. The experience is quite cold. The food, however, is really good and also at the right price if you take advantage of the "fork" offers, otherwise they start to get a little too high. The real problem is the staff... in difficulty, I don't know what other expression to use: they brought us the wrong bottle of wine three times before bringing us the one we asked for, some learning questions about reported allergens and homemade dessert it was practically impossible to have a comprehensive answer. All this did nothing but increase the perceived sadness. Three stars, more than deserved, because the meat was really good, but it doesn't have what it takes to be a total winner on the market.

Excellent dinner. Very good food. Unfortunately the bill was wrong. An extra first course was added to the bill... the cost of water was exaggerated at €5.00 for a natural bottle. 2 small cokes for €12.00 seems expensive to me.

I had dinner at this restaurant with my partner. The furnishings were nothing special, I was perhaps expecting something more refined for a place like this. The lights were soft and pleasant, a shame about the air conditioning jet which was a bit annoying. The staff was friendly and helpful. They also brought us gluten-free bread, as per our request. The only flaw is that they never served us the glass of white wine ordered at the beginning and this, obviously, did not make us very happy. Regarding the food: the presentation of the dishes was really beautiful, with the ingredients elegantly arranged. The portions were generous. The sea bass tartare starter was very good and with well-balanced ingredients, the fish was very fresh and impeccably prepared. The pumpkin soup ordered by my girlfriend was also a success, creamy and tasty. Unfortunately my cut of beef was not up to par. Cooked rare as I requested, but the meat required some chewing, it wasn't exactly tender. In short, not the quality you expect in a restaurant like this. The environment, however, was fairly quiet, apart from a few too many loud voices from other tables which however did not depend on the place. The prices on the menu are quite steep, but thanks to TheFork's 50% discount in the end the expense was acceptable. Overall, a normal experience, nothing transcendental. If I had to give a rating it would be a 7 out of 10. I absolutely wouldn't recommend it, but at the same time I didn't have that push to want to go back. Decent cuisine with some flaws, nice but anonymous location, normal service with some flaws, alas (glass of wine ordered and never arrived). In short, an option like many others.

Neutral environment much nicer than in the photo, top floor of the hotel, undeniably good food. Staff a little unprepared and not the most friendly. If you go to dinner for the food you will be fine, don't expect the location of your dreams.

Excellent place to have a nice, even romantic dinner, the environment needs to be enhanced much more but the food is good and the staff are super courteous and ready for your every need

Discovering a restaurant that follows Milanese traditions in a hotel is truly a pleasure, with trained staff and quality cuisine. 5 stars deserved

Calamarata with cheese and pepper, sliced ​​beef and quite good tiramisu. The service and ambiance leaves something to be desired, but the view from the eighth floor over Piazza Lima and Corso Buenos Aires is very beautiful! In fact, starting from April there will be a new project for the terrace, which will be overturned and transformed into a new ultra-exclusive rooftop! I can't wait to see how it changes!

Everything was excellent... from the welcome of the very kind Beatrice, to the super good dishes and the top location!!! definitely worth returning more than once! congratulations to everyone! PS the space tiramisu!
