We were looking for a cozy restaurant with good food, then we came across this restaurant. This restaurant is located in an old prison which makes it more special, despite this there was a cozy atmosphere and it was very quiet. I had the “Spaghetti alla carbonara” and my friends had a pizza (romana), both of which were delicious. When you think it can't get any better, the service was very good (fast) and the waiters were very nice. The crême de la crême was the price quality, very good food for a decent price! RECOMMENDED!

The experience of being in prison is not as well decorated as I imagined. Place with a lot of local Italians and few tourists. Price equal to tourist location. It's on Google that it closes at 11:30 pm, but I went to order food at 10:45 pm and they said it closed at 11 pm and that the kitchen was closed, after insisting they gave me a pizza.

Let me start by saying that I am not a fan of deep pizza, but here I found excellence. I ate it all including the edges. Excellent pizza and certainly made with excellent ingredients since I digested it very well. Nice place, nice environment, excellent service. What more can I say? Well done...

I had lunch with my family, the service, the staff and above all the food were excellent, we ate a delicious cut and the quality of the starters and pizzas was excellent. Highly recommended

This restaurant has been transformed from a former prison. The menu comprises many known Tuscan dishes and a variety of pastas. Food is generally good and the atmosphere is unusual. The restaurant overlooks a large enclosed courtyard and old prison cells line part of the building.

Pizza da dieci, coccoli da rivedere. I coccoli non sono fritti sul momento e si sente, non li riprenderei ma pizza straconsigliata!

18/11/2023: Vi son stato diverse volte in estate e nonostante il caldo estremo il posto è molto ventilato…Migliorerei gli aperitivi.. infatti avendo richiesto un rabarbaro scecherato ( molto semplice sulla carta ) son sprovvisti della materia prima nonostante i vari tentativi di reperimento altrove in zona .. hanno comq ovviato offrendomi gratuitamente una valida alternativa… complimenti a tutto il Personale . 28/09/2023: The evening air was magical as we attended the dinner at the Four Seasons Hotel in Firenze, Al Fresco Restaurant. The service and food provided were exemplary, making the experience all the more pleasurable. We opted for some of the more traditional options from the menu, which featured a variety of classic Italian dishes. However, we chose gourment pizza and gelato for dessert. A must visit when you're in Firenze.
