Very kind and really good food at a good price

An excellent restaurant specializing in fish. To try it we took the tasting menu, just to understand if the type of cuisine was to our liking. Well, it is. The chef's starters are absolutely amazing. To follow, the second tasting menu includes grilled and fried fish, therefore, if we want, fairly normal dishes (but we knew it), however expertly prepared. The grilled meat was cooked to perfection, accompanied by onion, carrots and various vegetables, combined with chicory tips that were simply shocking for their goodness. The mixed fried food is also perfect, not greasy, with some vegetables and a very thin onion ring to sweeten everything. To close, a limited but very adequate choice of desserts. You wake up really full. And in my opinion the price is perfectly adequate for the offer: let's take into account that, in addition to the starters (I repeat: absolutely FABULOUS), there are two generous second courses. A note on room service: the staff is very courteous, warm and welcoming. Overall, we had a really great time and can't wait to repeat the experience.

Un ottimo ristorante specializzato in pesce. Per provarlo abbiamo preso il menu degustazione, giusto per capire se il tipo di cucina fosse di nostro gradimento. Ebbene, lo è. Gli antipasti della chef sono assolutamente strepitosi. A seguire il menu degustazione secondi prevede pesce al forno e frittura, quindi, se vogliamo, piatti abbastanza banali (ma lo sapevamo), preparati però sapientemente. Il pesce al forno era cotto a puntino, accompagnato da cipolla, carote e verdure varie, a cui si associano delle puntarelle semplicemente sconvolgenti per la loro bontà. Anche il fritto misto è perfetto, non unto, con qualche verdura e anello di cipolla sottilissimo ad addolcire il tutto. A chiudere una scelta di dolci ridotta ma molto adeguata. Ci si alza davvero sazi. E il prezzo a mio avviso è perfettamente adeguato all'offerta: teniamo conto che, oltre agli antipasti (ripeto: assolutamente FAVOLOSI), ci sono due secondi abbondanti. Una nota sul servizio in sala: il personale è cortesissimo, caldo,a accogliente. Insomma, ci siamo trovati veramente benissimo e non vediamo l'ora di ripetere l'esperienza.

For over 25 years, in my opinion, one of the few restaurants that continues to be a certainty. The only aspect that could be improved: the wine list... but it's a venial sin.

Historic restaurant always a guarantee from the starter to the dessert everything is perfect as is the staff

A friend of mine and I went for lunch on January 1, 2024 and left more than satisfied. For me it was a pleasant confirmation of the quality of the service and food. The desserts then had a vintage presentation and flavour, from the old days, with homemade and non-artisan creams, with the flavors of ancient liqueurs, stock 84 and alchermes. I will definitely return and will continue to recommend it. Thanks Stefania

Una gita al mare a far sgambare il cane, eppoi ci fermiamo in questo bel ristorante. Bella sala e ottimo personale, attento e veloce. Abbiamo preso spaghetti vongole e bottarga (ottimi), un fritto di acciughe con verdurine fritte (ottimi) e un cacciucco oserei dire spaziale......fortunatamente la mia signora era sazia, così il celestiale intingolo l'ho finito io. Ultima cosa ma non da meno, nonostante siamo astemi ho notato che hanno una bella lista di vini e bollicine. Ah, dimenticavo, i dolci da non perdere.....squisiti. Prezzo in linea con la qualità di ciò che abbiamo mangiato e della location. Ciao e alla prossima
