Tavern-type restaurant with good food and moderate prices. I recommend the pizzoccheri with Pesteda on top!

The place is a little dated but very well located as it is very close to the basilica of Tirano. We booked the pizzoccheri and sciat by phone because they are not on the menu and I recommend both because they are excellent. However they have several other dishes. The bresaola and apple pie are also good. I don't recommend the house red wine. The bill was corrected.

I highly recommend anyone who is on holiday in the area to go and try it because the local dishes are truly sublime, especially the pizzoccheri alla Valtellina and bresaola!

Davvero una vecchia trattoria! Gestione familiare, menù semplici ma di buona qualità. Per i pizzoccheri va chiamato entro le 9.30 del Matt per la prenotazione, oppure ci sono al venerdì ed alla domenica. Prezzi modici e staff troppo carino e gentile! Alla prossima!

Il locale si presenta come una locanda ed è molto affollato soprattutto nell'orario di pranzo (di sera non ci sono stato quindi non so). Mi è stato consigliato da un collega per i pizzoccheri, come il piatto speciale, ma purtroppo abbiamo scoperto al momento di ordinare che questo è disponibile solo il fine settimana e preferibilmente su prenotazione. Nonostante questo disguido quello che abbiamo ordinato era buono e abbondante.
