Ristorante Pizzeria I Monaci In Assisi

We had lunch on Easter Sunday. Starter, first course and dessert. All washed down with a Montefalco red.

I was there a few nights ago for dinner, a nice place typical of the area. Not bad and good choice of pizzas. I had a hamburger with chips which was very good I must say. The only negative note is the wait before eating (about 40 minutes). Despite this it is still a good restaurant. The dessert, a yoghurt with a biscuit entirely made with lavender, is very particular. To be recommended

We discovered this nice little place by chance a few months ago and today we returned to enjoy their delicious dishes again. We met the owners, Chiara and Fabio, a Roman couple who fell in love with Assisi and began their adventure as restaurateurs here. What can I say, keep it up!!! Entering here is like being at home! Hospitality, food, wine and even the coffee were top marks!!! Thanks guys, you and your staff are 5 stars!!!!!!! ❤️

I would like to point out that I own a place in my beloved Sardinia and my review is written with criteria and knowledge of the trade and raw materials. Very clean and elegant place, very well heated, friendly, knowledgeable and very welcoming staff. The food we ordered was delicious and of high quality, my husband and I love truffles and we were very satisfied with all the dishes we were served, really generous portions and elegantly plated. Super highly recommended restaurant. We will definitely be back. Congratulations to all the staff, keep it up!

Locale carino tra le vie di Assisi. Abbiamo preso prima un antipasto misto iniziale, con focaccia, ricotta arrostita, Supplì, uova con tartufo, tempura di verdure, Erbette ripassate e Carciofi fritti. Focaccia buona e molto croccante. La ricotta arrostita con marmellata di Arance e castagne era molto buona e particolare. I Supplì molto saporiti. Le uova strapazzate erano buone e il tartufo si sentiva abbastanza. La tempura di verdura era buona, ma un po' troppo unta, mentre i Carciofi erano duri all'interno. Le Erbette erano buone. Per primo abbiamo preso le tagliatelle porcini e tartufo e il raviolo scomposto. Tagliatelle nella media, non erano molto cremose e il tartufo non si sentiva. Funghi porcini invece molto buoni. La cosa che mi ha dato più fastidio in questo piatto è che del prezzemolo tritato che c'era dentro era quasi tutto gambo. Il raviolo invece è arrivato freddo e il sapore era sovrastato dal vino, che credo non abbiano fatto sfumare per bene. Per secondo abbiamo preso le polpette e le patate Arrosto. Patate molto buone, mentre le polpette non erano granché, sugo insapore e qualità della carne che non mi ha soddisfatto. La cameriera che ci ha accolti è stata molto gentile ed accogliente, mentre il cameriere che ci ha servito era molto antipatico e poco professionale

Really lovely setting in the center and friendly staff. Unfortunately, although there were only about ten customers, both first courses were cold and the dessert arrived before the side dish. Having remedied the misunderstanding (which can happen!), we still had to wait 20 minutes to be able to taste it at the end of the meal. Quality-price ok

Nice place in the streets of Assisi. We first took an initial mixed appetizer, with focaccia, roasted ricotta, Supplì, eggs with truffles, vegetable tempura, sautéed herbs and fried artichokes. Good focaccia and very crunchy. The roasted ricotta with orange and chestnut marmalade was very good and unique. The supplì are very tasty. The scrambled eggs were good and the truffle was enough. The vegetable tempura was good, but a little too greasy, while the artichokes were hard inside. The Erbette were good. First we had the porcini and truffle tagliatelle and the decomposed ravioli. Average tagliatelle, they were not very creamy and the truffle was not noticeable. Porcini mushrooms, on the other hand, very good. The thing that bothered me the most about this dish was that almost all of the chopped parsley in it was the stem. The ravioli however arrived cold and the flavor was dominated by the wine, which I think they didn't blend well. For the second course we took the meatballs and roast potatoes. Potatoes were very good, while the meatballs weren't that great, the sauce was tasteless and the quality of the meat didn't satisfy me. The waitress who greeted us was very kind and welcoming, while the waiter who served us was very unpleasant and unprofessional

Locale in centro, caratteristico, pulito ed accogliente. Personale gentile e disponibile. Ottimi piatti, dall'antipasto al dolce. Accostamenti azzeccati e sapori piacevolissimi. Ritorneremo sicuramente.
