Strategic accommodation for those wishing to visit Florence and Lucca/Pisa, spacious and clean rooms, courteous staff and varied breakfast. Even the dinner was more than decent, especially the pizza! 😄 only flaw, but it doesn't depend on the structure, there are no activities or attractions in the town, so you need to move a few km to do something.

Great location for touring Tuscany. Clean, tidy, large rooms, friendly staff, reasonable prices, there is also a swimming pool.

02/04/2024: Ieri sera siamo tornati dai miei amici alla Capanna del Gallo! Che piacere per il palato e per la gentilezza della compagnia di Matteo il titolare ! Anche tutto il personale è da 10 specialmente Matteo 🤩! Fantastica bistecca , uova al tartufo e tagliere con affettati e formaggi ( tutto di produzione propria ! Per me andare lì e ‘ come rigenerarsi ! Grazie Matteo spero che il tempo sia clemente e possiamo venire presto !🔝
27/12/2023: Dopo 3 mesi siamo tornati finalmente Da Matteo alla Capanna del Gallo ! E’il mio ristorante preferito loro : Matteo e l’Elena persone eccezionali e anche Matteo del personale ho un feeling Unico! Tagliere da urlo , taglierini al tartufo buonissimi e che Bistecca da leccarsi le dita! In estate tutti i sabati siamo lì ! Non vedo l’ora di tornare è sempre un enorme piacere ! Bravo 👏 Matteo!

27/03/2024: You eat well and you spend a fair amount for the portions but IN THE WEEK AT 9.30-10PM THEY START TO CLOSE. Hurry up to eat coffee or dessert elsewhere. Everything already closed. SIN
04/02/2024: Mandatory stop when I come to Gigli. I always take the Arrabbiata, excellent. But the flatbreads, pizzas and salads are also delicious
