A beautiful restaurant. Very welcoming on walking in. Carefully prepared food in a warm family atmosphere. Delicious food.

Food was fabulous. Clams with candied lemon peel- magnifico. Service very good and friendly. We also were serenaded by one of the Choral teams in Lucca for the Vox Lucensis competition- buona fortuna Norvegia!

This restaurant represents something new in Lucca's culinary offering and was a pleasant discovery, so much so that I returned several times. Excellent food: the menu is refined, varies from time to time, with original dishes that enhance the quality of the raw materials. If you have the possibility to order it for two, I recommend the risotto, it always reveals surprises of flavours! Elegant environment, the restaurant is located next to the Cinema Centrale, in the heart of Lucca. Impeccable service, very kind and professional staff. Fair price for the quality offered. I absolutely recommend it!

Beautiful restaurant in front of the Puccini house museum. We ate very well. Every ingredient in every dish was of quality and balanced with the others. It was a shame to finish each dish as it was so good. The wine is also excellent. We ate the egg with puree, the Fassona steak, the risotto and the artichokes with hummus.

Ringrazio in un giorno particolare come oggi 25 dicembre! Di aver mangiato magnificamente in un delizioso ristorante a conduzione familiare ! Complimenti ogni volta che torno a Lucca tornerò molto volentieri! Lo consiglio !!!!!

Più volte ho avuto l'occasione di cenare e pranzare in questo ristorante e sicuramente lo reputo uno dei migliori nel centro storico di Lucca. Il ristorante, a conduzione familiare, si nasconde in una corticella proprio di fronte al museo casa Puccini. Interno curato ed elegante dove non ti senti mai a disagio grazie ad un personale gentile e cordiale che lavora con passione e dedizione. Piatti sempre buoni, ben studiati che ad ogni boccone ti sorprendono! Soluzione anche vegetariana. Risotto, il migliore di Lucca!

11/02/2024: Unfortunately, I hadn't been back to eat at Luis and David's for a few years, and it was a wonderful rediscovery. The environment is always splendid, intimate and warm, with attention to every detail. The cuisine is amazing and the hospitality is equally amazing. I can't wait to go back already!
29/01/2024: An unconventional restaurant where you can appreciate refined and attentive cuisine which combines flavors that are not typical of the area but which blend well with the Tuscan tradition. The owner Luis knows how to welcome and create a convivial atmosphere without excesses of protagonism and his experience acquired over years of life spent in Paris is found in the flavor of the very French setup that he has reconstructed in his restaurant. The only note is that the cost is a little over the top, although quality and service can allow us to indulge in this aspect........
