Here we find the original dishes of the local culture. Simplicity and quality. Traditional appetizers always fresh and fragrant. Pici remain the main dish, but ravioli and gnocchi are delicious. The quality of the meat is of a high standard and each dish is prepared with the same care used in the family. Even the desserts, which are "homemade" like everything else, have the healthy and balanced taste of those of the past.

The environment reflects that of restaurants of the past: large room in rustic style. Very friendly staff and exquisite food with homemade pasta, bread and desserts. We stayed very well.

Honestly, I ate really, really well... congratulations... as far as the service is concerned, I would like to overlook it because the waitress seemed a bit too phenomenal and arrogant, but thank goodness the food was good

We stopped for a stop in Montepulciano, they recommended this restaurant which we think is FABULOUS. Obviously we couldn't not take the FIORENTINA which we think is the strong dish of this restaurant! We also tasted various homemade desserts (there were 6 of us) and we really liked the tiramisu! Friendly and kind staff! I highly recommend it!

Qui si mangiano i pici fatti in casa e la carne di chianina alla fiorentina. Consiglio il tris di pici scegliendo tra le almeno 5 o 6 possibili scelte.

Buon servizio e cibo buono!!! Purtroppo però sul conto devo esprimere delle perplessità: in 6 persone chiediamo per 3 fiorentine, dopo un controllo della cameriera in cucina, ci viene detto che ce ne sono giusto 3 da 1 kg, accettiamo, sul conto però le fiorentine vengono 200 euro (da menù costerebbero 50 euro al kg). Lo facciamo presente allo staff e la spiegazione è che le 3 fiorentine pesavano giusto giusto 4 kg. Peccato anche per la cottura della carne. L’avevamo chiesta al sangue e invece ci viene servita con cottura media. La spiegazione dei camerieri è stata che per servirle calde vengono mantenute in forno, dove evidentemente continuano la cottura.

06/01/2024: Intimate and welcoming environment. Wide choice of wines, simple dishes that contain the genuine flavors of a wonderful land and professional and attentive service. If you pass through Pienza you can't help but stop.
10/12/2023: This December 8th we decided to spend it in Val d'Orcia, visiting the various landscapes and markets in the area. During our stop we stopped to have lunch at the entrance to Pienza in a welcoming Winebar; where we were welcomed, even though we hadn't booked, by Christian and Giulia, the managers of the place, very cheerful and helpful. The Winebar is very bright, with a beautiful display of wines and tables inside and outside, everything is very well looked after and very clean. The guys are very knowledgeable and were able to advise us both in choosing the menu and in the choice of wines. We chose the typical crostini with Tuscan pâté, the tasty beef tartare and finally the classic cantucci with vinsanto famous in the area. Congratulations for your cheerfulness, education and availability, continue like this... if we were to be in the area we will definitely come and visit you. RECOMMENDED LOCATION

08/01/2024: The villa offers everything you need for a calm and relaxing holiday: silence, impeccable cleaning, delicious local food, a refreshing swimming pool, good wine, especially the white selection. The place is situated in the middle of an olive grove, away from the heat and noise of towns, but still close to famous attractions like Montepulciano (30 minutes away), or Florence (1 hour and a half). The staff is also very nice and friendly.
17/10/2023: Stunning structure, immersed in the Val d'Orcia countryside. The welcome from Paul and Judyta is superb. They are the true excellence, from breakfast to availability in any eventuality.
